More About Spiritual Physics

What is a “Point of Separation”? Tobias has talked about this in several recent Shouds, and a lot of Shaumbra have asked me what it really means. According to Tobias, a Point of Separation (POS) occurs when consciousness moves from one “level” to another. It’s like a train leaving the station en route to the next station. There’s an important “space” from the point of leaving one station until arriving at the next. This is when the actual evolution and expansion of consciousness takes place. It’s a very special and often mysterious time, filled with as much excitement as uncertainty.

Here’s a recent example: On election night in the United States this month, there was a definitive Point of Separation when John McCain conceded the election to Barak Obama. It continued into the time of McCain’s concession speech and Obama’s moving acceptance speech. If you watched the events on television, and especially the pictures of 100,000+ people gathered in Grant Park in Chicago, you could actually feel the Point of Separation that was taking place. The U.S. and perhaps the whole world was right in the midst of a POS. It was a transition from the George Bush era into a new, undefined era. Many spiritually oriented people could feel it was a movement of consciousness that had been stuck for many, many years. At about midnight in the U.S. on November 4, the old train pulled out of the station to begin a new era of change and transformation.

A Point of Separation generally occurs after a period of turmoil, frustration or stuck energy. The end of World War II was a POS. The first man on the moon was another memorable POS. And certainly September 11, 2001 was also a POS. Immediately following these events you’ll notice a change in the way people think and act. They tend to come from a place of perspective and awareness rather than routine and logic. They think outside of their usual box, for a change. They feel a surge of creative consciousness that comes rushing forward after being suppressed for a long time.

Tobias says that “all energy seeks resolution” and that “consciousness seeks to expand and experience.” If the energies are out of balance they will create a situation, or Point of Separation from their old ways, in order to come back into balance and harmony in a new way. If consciousness is stuck, it will create a POS to get moving again. It’s an amazing simple process that is at play every day in our lives, in ways large and small.

Global Points of Separation used to occur few and far between. That’s why change came so slowly in generations past. But now with a higher overall level of consciousness and instant communications with resources like the Internet, the POS’s are occurring more frequently, and are often clumped together in groups. It’s an exhilarating time for inventors, musicians, writers and others who are using their creativity. It’s nerve-wracking and anxiety-wrought for those who prefer the comfort of the status quo.

We’ll experience more and more global Points of Separation in the years ahead. It will feel like a series of consciousness earthquakes rumbling us off our feet and out of our complacency. And just like an earthquake, the aftershocks will continue until we’ve fully arrived at our next major level, or what Tobias calls a Point of Presence. The Point of Presence (POP) occurs when humanity arrives its next level. It’s a time to rejoice, and to experience the new consciousness.

None of this should seem foreign to Shaumbra, of course. We’ve all gone through our own Points of Personal Separation (POPS) these past years. We know what it’s like to wildly and dramatically break out of our old consciousness. We know what it’s like to fly or spin through the mid-zone between a Point of Separation and our new Point of Presence. And we know, thank goodness, that we always seem to land safely in the new Point of Presence. After shaking ourselves off and getting grounded once again, we so often say, “Damn that was fun! Let’s do it again.” Whoa, cowboy! Take a moment to relax and enjoy. Sit back and watch how humanity will go through its Points of Separation these next few years. Be there to hand out water and bandages to the ones just getting off the cosmic ride through consciousness. You’ll have plenty of time for more POPS of your own, but trust me that they won’t need to be like your previous experiences. More about that in another article!

If today's economic news is creating an emotion in you of feeling disheveled, one just has to look to the sky for metaphors. There is a saying, "As Above, So is Below."

Life as we know it appears to be turning upside down. Hang in there, and remember to smile as all is in Divine Order.

"It appeared in the sky for the briefest of moments. A dazzling arc of psychedelic color reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat's grin in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. But this is no fantasy or trick of the light--it is known as a circumzenithal arc. Seen shimmering in the sky over Cambridge in the afternoon sunshine, it is often mistaken for a rainbow hanging upside down.

Relatively rare in Britain, the arc only appears when sunlight shines at a specific angle through a thin veil of wispy clouds at a height of around 20,000 to 25,000 feet. At this altitude the cirrus clouds are made of ice crystals, the size of grains of salt. Renowned astronomer and writer Dr. Jacqueline Mitton was lucky enough to capture the optical phenomenon on camera near her home in Cambridge last Sunday. Mitton, who has a doctorate in astrophysics from Cambridge University, was awed: "I've never seen anything like it before--and I'm 60.""

Dr. Lisa MauckWeiland is married to my nephew. It is so encouraging to see this generation taking the lead towards energy independence.

There are 3 1/2 million miles of rivers in the United States.

In Lisa Mauck Weiland's dreams, they could be the next great clean energy source for the world, but not the old-fashioned way, with dams and hydroelectric power plants.

Instead, Dr. Weiland, a mechanical engineering professor at the University of Pittsburgh, hopes to use tiny strips of plastic, undulating in the current of rivers and streams, to produce electricity.

An expert in "smart materials," Dr. Weiland and her team at Pitt are working on a project in which they hope to use plastics known as ionic polymers to help generate electricity for the town of Vandergrift in Westmoreland County, 25 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

If her plans work out, the borough's historic downtown could one day get 20 percent or more of its electrical power from a mile-long array of tiny plastic devices wiggling away on the bottom of the Kiskiminetas River as it sweeps around the town.

Ionic polymers, already used as sensors, have the ability to dynamically generate current when they move, and Dr. Weiland and her engineering students are now trying to figure out the best size, shape and array of the plastics to put in the Kiski River sometime in the next five years.

Once the array goes in on the riverbed, she said, "if you were able to look at it, you would just see a bunch of little things wiggling. It wouldn't look that different from a bunch of plant life." Cables from the array might then connect to the town's power grid at different spots along the bank.

The power generation project is just one part of the Vandergrift Improvement Program, in which the borough, designed in 1894 as a model steelmaking community, now hopes to revitalize itself as a model "green" community, with the help of Pitt, the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation and the state Department of Community and Economic Development.

Dr. Weiland is Pitt's key liaison to the project, and she plans to put as much energy into community education work on environmental sustainability as she does on the power experiment.

By working with Vandergrift's citizens on conserving energy and developing clean technologies like solar power, she said it's conceivable Downtown could one day function without using any fossil fuels.

The residents' creativity and ideas will be crucial to the effort, she said, because even though "technology is going to have a very important role to play, technology alone is not going to come to the rescue. It took all of us to make this mess and it will take all of us to clean it up."

While the Vandergrift project has become Dr. Weiland's personal mission, it is not her professional passion.

That is planes, and specifically, changing the shape of military aircraft in midflight, a process known as morphing.

The idea behind this experimental work is to develop an aircraft that can perform more than one function. Right now, for instance, if a fixed-wing military surveillance plane spots some trouble from high altitude, it has to signal for other planes to investigate, and by that time, it might be too late.

But what if the surveillance plane could change the shape and angle of its wings and go down to eyeball the situation itself? That's the idea behind morphing, she said.

Engineers have made great strides in figuring out how to change the shape and angle of the wings in midair, she said, but haven't licked the problem of how to get the craft's skin to alter itself. "The skin is one of the last hurdles to developing an airplane that can morph in flight, just like a bird does," Dr. Weiland said.

The trick is to find a material that can soften when the wings are changing shape and then harden again. There is one class of materials that can be softened with heat and then regain its rigidity, but that process is too slow and could give off a "heat signature" that the enemy could detect, she said.

As an alternative, her lab is investigating materials that could soften and reharden after exposure to different wavelengths of light, or different electrical frequencies.

That work has also led her down another pathway, exploring materials that incorporate the same energy packets that are used by human cells -- ATP, or adenosine triphosphate.

The ATP can drive microscopic pumping action in a material, and one possible use of that might be to deliver vaccines or medications to target cells that would activate the pumps and release the substances in the body, she said.

If the ionic polymers she is working with in Vandergrift don't end up being the best material for generating power, they still hold great promise as self-powered sensors, especially for spots that are too remote or dangerous for regular human inspection, such as deep mine shafts or nuclear plants, she said.

There might even be medical uses, Dr. Weiland said. One experiment has used an ionic polymer patch on the arm to detect the subtle turbulence in the bloodstream that might indicate clots are forming near the heart.

Dr. Weiland grew up in the Baltimore area and can remember being so fascinated by planes at a young age that she would climb out of her crib if she heard one flying overhead.

After earning an associate degree at a community college, she got her bachelor's in mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland. Eventually, her airplane mania lured her to graduate school at Purdue University and the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she earned her Ph.D. in 2002 and did her first airplane morphing.

This morning I opened an email from Jean Hudon who has dedicated countless hours compiling articles of personal, national and global interest sent to him from many concerned and aware individuals throughout the world. The words that he shared with us today in his opening message were powerful, and for me today it will become my center of thought.

Sunday's Sermon on the Pavement

Life has a way of giving us those small twists and turns that take us to our knees! What started out as a beautiful sunny day, ended with a six hour stint in the local ER room of our hospital.

The morning began with a comment from my mouth, that perhaps I needed a new car as the one I was driving didn't feel safe. I got the look from family like, "What's your problem?" Somewhere deep inside me though, the feeling that makes one's stomach contract, the message to this scribe was trying it's best to give me heads up on the red flag or 911 alert. Sunday while being left alone to my own devices for entertainment, I decided to hop into my car and take a short drive.

Everything was going fine until I headed the car back home. I had just crossed over the Cumberland Bridge that recently had some repair work done to it, as the landslides that occur frequently put stress on it. When crossing it, the "Sign of the Cross" often comes to mind with a short prayer for protection, as the thought of a long plunge into the cold waters below often makes me cringe. :-)

I was heading back up the hill when the power seemed to be giving out and the car was slowing down to a crawl. I managed to get it off the road but in a very dangerous place to park as the cars were whizzing by me. This dream I was dreaming up, was now turning into a nightmare. It was nearly 15 years ago when my last car gave out at nearly this exact spot during an electrical storm. I now believe that spot needs some energy clearing! It not only put my car out of commission, but took me down with it!

Back to the story........I called AAA and they sent me a tow truck. Not feeling safe sitting in the car thinking a rear end collision wouldn't feel very good, I decided to get out and wait at a safer place out of harms way. It was then the flip-flops on my feet did not support the soft shoulder of the road, and down I went turning my left foot and creating a most unbecoming pavement rash tattoo to my right leg. The tow truck driver was so apologetic for not getting to me sooner and offered to drive me to the hospital. I declined as we got back to my house and hobbled then to another vehicle and drove myself to the hospital.

Now having been to the ER several times recently while taking a family member in, I knew what I was heading into. One often feels like they must have landed on another planet! We won't go into the perceptions that came to mind concerning animalistic behavior of others, but when the ER doctor came into my room, closed the curtain and sat on the bed saying, "He was hiding," I knew how he felt. A few minutes earlier he encountered the same mean bruiser drunk I had witnessed yelling at his wife earlier. If I hadn't been sitting in a wheelchair and unable to walk, I might have given him a few sermon on the pavement words that were coming to mind. Instead I called in the white light to surround and protect all of us!

Six hours later after x-ray's and bandaged up, with new boot on foot and recently tanned leg now minus the brown skin clothed in white gauze, I am on my way back home! For those of you who may not have a nice walk in shower with seat to sit on, I am viewing the ice chest recently purchased as a make shift stool to sit on. Hopefully today I will be able to put it to use as I can smell myself. The mini clean yesterday just didn't cut it. These episodes usually assist us in thinking of others who have physical problems that are life long and helps us to give thanks when ours are short-term.

When viewing the video of Matt dancing that I posted earlier today, I realized my feet may not be moving, but my arms and heart were dancing with the rhythm of the beat. One of the last things I remember looking at while in the hospital was the phone that was in the room. When I got up my eyes went to the little numbers that were posted and the first thing I saw was 911. I saw those numbers the other day on the clock and knew something was coming in......a little message to be prepared, but never an inkling as to how it's going to show up.

I am now grounded for a while and will do my best to go with the flow. My friend who is a nurse on the East Coast sent me this quote today that she had just read, "You will instead begin to recognize Alpha, Theta, and even Delta, brainwaves as your normal state of consciousness, and your Multidimensional SELF will feel like YOU! When this occurs, you will have to pay special attention to your physical earth vessel. If it is not strengthened to fit your expanding mind you will suffer symptoms of transformation in whichever area of your body is your weakest link." Now that was an interesting message and seemed to fit - the physical is always the last to come on board!

The next time the Firemen are out holding the boot for $$$ for those 911 calls, I will remember how important the ankle support is to all of our foundation. A big thank you to all the Earth Angels who came to my rescue!

(Follow up 2 hours later....my daughter came over to help me and she picked up the discharge papers from the hospital. I glanced at them and then my eye went to the bottom of the page and it said, "Printed at 9:11.10." Yup - another synchronicity.)

Tonight I watched this video on YouTube an amazing performance by a young 5 year old South Korean girl. It was towards the end of the performance when she sang that it was evident of what her mission in life is.... to remind us of our purpose.

May she touch your heart as she has touched mine so deeply.

(A blind five-year-old pianist from South Korea has stunned the music world after a video of her performance received more than 27 million hits.
Yoo Ye-eun, who was born blind and adopted in 2002, has never had a formal piano lesson but can play any song after just one listen.

And now her remarkable talent is set to propel her to stardom as clips of her amazing performance have attracted millions of viewers to Korean website Pandora TV. A similar clip on YouTube has so far received two million hits.

Eva some rambling thoughts. In working with wound healing and tissue repair using topically applied hyperbaric, there was often no scar tissue. Other that using embryonic tissue, I am unaware of this phenomenon. Thus the stem cells seem to be turned on by the oxygen. If one were to prick damaged tissue and then bring up tissue fluids, subject the area to topically applied hyperbaric the area would often remodel without scar tissue----i.e., new skin. The topically applied hyperbaric closed Pyoderma gangrenosum very quickly when not much else would work. Too much oxygen was damaging to new tissue. The right amount was angiogenic. The electron microscopy demonstrated this. Oxygen acted as an irritant, the TNF involvement and the MAP kinase and the phospholation of threonine kinase had something to do with driving this. See if you can talk with Madalene Heng who has this all worked out. You can Google her, Heng MC. Also ask her about her rat brain studies.

In your Monterey address a year or so ago, you mentioned muscle tissue as being exempt from active cancer growth. This tissue is also susceptible to enormous shifts in oxygen supply. In the microvascular supply the endothelial cell is capable of metabolic activity that can be 100 times greater than that of other cells. To support this elevated and impressive metabolic activity, endothelial cells are also major oxygen sinks. In ischemia, reperfusion injury, and acute inflammatory states, the endothelial cell shifts to a prothrombotic mode, the consequences of which are microthrombi [5]. The postcapillary venules are the most prone to attack during the inflammatory response as well as during ischemia or reperfusion injury. Granger et al noted that venular endothelial cells are 1 to 3 times more sensitive to inflammatory mediators and peptide angiogenic factors than endothelial cells found in the aorta [6]. The implication is that venular endothelial cells contain the highest density of inflammatory mediator receptors.

Tsai,1 and Marcos Intaglietta1 1Department of Bioengineering, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla; and 2Sangart, San Diego, California Submitted 9 June 2004 ; accepted in final form 29 November 2004 Repeated exposure to brief periods of hypoxia leads to pathophysiological changes in experimental animals similar to those seen in sleep apnea. To determine the effects of such exposure on oxygen levels in vivo, we used an optical method to measure PO2 in microcirculatory vessels and tissue of the rat cremaster muscle during a 1-min step reduction of inspired oxygen fraction from 0.21 to 0.07. Under control conditions, PO2 was 98.1 ± 1.9 Torr in arterial blood, 52.2 ± 2.8 Torr in 29.0 ± 2.7-µm arterioles, 26.8 ± 1.7 Torr in the tissue interstitium near venous capillaries, and 35.1 ± 2.6 Torr in 29.7 ± 1.9-µm venules. The initial fall in PO2 during hypoxia was significantly greater in arterial blood, being 93% complete in the first 10 s, whereas it was 68% complete in arterioles, 47% at the tissue sites, and 38% in venules. In the 10- to 30-s period, the fall in normalized tissue and venular PO2 was significantly greater than in arterial PO2. At the end of hypoxic exposure, PO2 at all measurement sites had fallen very nearly in proportion to that in the inspired gas, but tissue oxygen levels did not reach critical PO2. Significant differences in oxyhemoglobin desaturation rate were also observed between arterial and microcirculatory vessels during hypoxia. In conclusion, the fall in microcirculatory and tissue oxygen levels in resting skeletal muscle is significantly slower than in arterial blood during a step reduction to an inspired oxygen fraction of 0.07, and tissue PO2 does not reach anaerobic levels.

WHEN YOUR LIFE IS FALLING APART…

The stages of soul transformation are like a death and re-birth. This process is an elaboration on the experience commonly referred to as “The Dark Night of the Soul.” To complete this natural process with any amount of commitment results in a soul transformation that we often call being “born again.” This process is meant to cleanse your soul of illusions and unhealthy attachments, which awakens you to greater realities and to the truth of who you are. Although this process is mostly aimed at your heart and soul, it usually is most noticeable in either your body (and material life), your emotions (and relationships), and/or your mind (and attitudes).

There are five stages within the soul transformation process. They are as follows:

1. Dismantling: Here the process begins. This stage is active in your life whenever your experiencing a shift wherein part or all of your life is changing—perhaps even being taken away.
2. Emptiness: Now that the illusions you held about your life have been exposed and have begun to be dismantled, you’ll feel empty and depressed because of the time, effort, and (what you thought was) love you’ve invested in that illusion. This stage is like a psychological “hang-over” after being drunk on deceptions from self and others.
3. Disorientation: Needless to say, since the life you thought you had was intact and it clearly wasn’t, you will now be in a state of disorientation and doubt everything, including your abilities to do anything right or to make good decisions.
4. Re-building: Now that you seem to have lost something (or maybe everything), you may have learned how to trust & surrender. In so doing, you are probably open to new ideas and inspirations, leading you to the potential of creating a new life.
5. A New Life: This is the stage wherein you reap the obvious fruits of the healing, patience, and humility that you’ve developed. Here you are not made small but great, as you now have released your former identity as a human being with human achievements and see you are far more. Now, having set aside your humanness, you can take your divinity to a whole new level.

There are many reasons the soul has for activating the soul’s transformation process, but generally speaking, it’s the soul’s way of expressing tough love; a way of getting a message across that you are otherwise ignoring. Again, this message is usually around the need to move to a new level of consciousness, but you are being held back by either some lesson you believe you need to learn or healing that is yet incomplete. Nearly all processes of learning and healing that the heart creates and/or experiences result in the opportunity to understand and experience greater levels of unconditional love. So, in the end, it’s all about love.

Besides having many reasons to initiate this process, the soul also has numerous means of making the process manifest. For some people it comes in the form of a health crisis or accident; for others it might come as a death or other form of loss, such as a job; and still others might begin the soul transformation process through a relationship crisis or the entrance into your life of a man or woman who symbolizes your need to wake up to old wounds or perhaps to new possibilities.

So what should you do when the soul transformation process enters your life?
1. Prepare in advance. Living a well balanced life will cause major shifts to occur less often and less dramatically.
2. When it strikes, do what you can to relax into the process and not deny, minimize, or blame. Also observe the natural stages of soul transformation—as outlined in this material. Do your best to work through each stage/phase.
3. Cultivate supportive friends who will NOT distract you but will instead support your process. Let them know you don’t need them to “fix” you nor to tell you that their life is even worse. You just want them to listen and be supportive.
4. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Give yourself credit for each moment of courage and each new insight.
5. Once it blows over, don’t get too cocky, as it can swing back around and humble you. Also, during this phase, it’s wise to listen and observe for either residual stuff that still needs to be processed or new inspirations that begin to appear, offering hints of some new direction.

Tonight I was reading an article written by Mari Hall and her experience of using Reiki in her life. Daily it seems that we hear of others who are experiencing emotional, physical, mental and spiritual distress. There are many alternative and complimentary modalities that can assist when times are rough.

Tonight on the news they showed a young mother of two children who was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to other organs. Her doctors did not give her much hope. She asked about complimentary treatments and found that Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Hospital located in Seattle has a program that does include complimentary treatments to her regular Western medicine regime. They offer yoga, massage, exercise, nutritional counseling and I bet various energy healing techniques. This woman has reported since she has been doing the complimentary practices, the tumors are shrinking and her lungs are now clear.

I recently took a few days to reflect on the events of 2007 as well as how my life was before and has been after Reiki. Have you also had thoughts like that or found yourself saying, “Before Reiki I was…, and after Reiki I am…?”

Before Reiki I thought the world was harsh and hard to live in. I had decided it was not safe to show emotions, certainly that love would hurt, and the people in your life would never be there for you. I lived life closed, depressed and isolated. I was an outsider looking in at life and watching other people. I knew it was not safe to participate in life because you could not trust anyone…after all with my track record my mind was firmly made up.

I had few close friends in school and spent much of my time in my room painting or writing in my journal. By the time I was 37 I had two failed marriages and had spent enough time spent in the hospital with various illnesses to know things just did not come easy and that I did not deserve any better. I was told by my doctors that by the time I was forty, I would be totally paralyzed and in a wheelchair.

In 1980, I participated in a Reiki course and started to give myself Reiki. The paralysis in my body disappeared, but most importantly, I felt that I had touched my soul and awakened from a long sleep. I experienced a return to harmony on all levels and a deep peace.

Continuing to use Reiki as a means for inner harmony, I began taking self-development courses to heal my past. This helped me to forgive and move on. Reiki was my constant companion through that period. It still is. Since that first day with Reiki so many opportunities have been given to me, chances to say yes instead of no to life. Life has not always been rosy and all my problems did not cease to exist after Reiki. In fact it seems at some level that the heat was turned up. Reiki continues to help bring things up to heal physically and emotionally. I have been challenged to live my life in the present moment, to be true to myself, honest, and fearless. Fear-less meaning that I have come to realize that what I fear most I bring to myself. Reiki helped me change my belief structure. Feeling the way I did before Reiki became uncomfortable. Fearing shut down my energy; Faith, which is the opposite, opens me up, frees the soul and fans the flame of love in my heart.

Reiki was the beginning of my spiritual journey. There was a time when I thought I had taken that first class only to learn some Reiki techniques that might help heal me, but what actually happened was that Reiki supported me on my return to wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Every step I take with Reiki confirms the truth of this. It is a never-ending process of discovering myself, and indeed, a spiritual journey unlike anything I could ever have imagined. I have heard Grace defined as the outward expression of the inward harmony of the soul. At times I did not even realize that parts of me were not balanced until they were harmonized and I felt different… certainly more alive and filled with grace.

I know without a doubt that if I had not taken that first step with Reiki my life would be very different today. I see parallel lives: on one side “without Reiki” there is a lonely woman in a wheelchair all dried up with no life in her; on the other, “with Reiki”…me as I am. And the two are vastly different. Before Reiki, I would never have quit my job and flown to Europe, much less found myself teaching with the passion of an awakened heart in the UK and throughout Europe. I had been lit from the inside. I now cared not only for myself, I but could see how connected I was to others and how interconnected we all are. I saw and experienced a bigger picture that was beautiful. . . . . .

Crescent Moon Alert

April 4, 2008: The date was March 8th, less than a month ago. In a remote corner of Kansas, the sun was going down and the deepening twilight beckoned to photographer Doug Zubenel driving through the countryside. Something photogenic, he knew, was about to happen.

He turned his car onto an unfamiliar dirt road and proceeded into the sunset. "The brilliant sun did not allow me to see the cement railings on a bridge over a small creek. The next thing I knew, I had totaled my car!" Zubenel emerged from the wreckage, phoned 911, and while he was waiting for the tow truck to arrive, took the picture:

"It was a beautiful 1-day old crescent moon," says Zubenel. "It looked a lot better than my car!"

This morning I was treated to a wonderful video of an elephant painting. Minutes before that, I noticed a new device a family member had plugged into the computer, and I asked what it was. The reply was, "It's a memory stick." Seconds later, I'm watching this elephant with paintbrush extending from its trunk and with gentleness and ease, the strokes fluidly move over the canvas. Having a memory like an elephant sure does take on a whole new meaning. My friend who is an animal communicator mentioned that perhaps it's not the memory that is important, but perhaps its because the elephant is in NOW time. So, if we were to lose our fascination with trying to retain every bit of memory, or have a device to plug into our computer to assist us in retaining and processing every bit of information, could we also paint like an elephant or Van Gogh and believe there is nothing we cannot accomplish having dropped the fear of losing control and shifting more into our right hemisphere or as they say, "Being in the NOW"? Does the memory stick for adults serve as a child's blanket or favorite toy that gives them the feeling of safety? Or does the memory stick allow us to not have to remember all the bits of information, so we can unplug and free our own internal space? I once read that "Alzeheimers" allows one to be closer to Spirit or in the NOW. All this mind chatter before my cup of Yuban! Oh Yuban, take me away........so I can ban from the YOU and find my true SELF. Oh, I think that is the Palmolive commercial and I just noticed the live or olive with Pal... becomes good friends with self or eat more olives or the "O" represents wholeness found when we pal with self and become good friends as in the (yin/yang, masculine/feminine/right and left hemispheres) truly enjoying each other's company. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did.

9/11 - Prayer for the Heart and Soul of America

Tonight I opened Steve Bhaerman's email and reflected on his words. May the vibration contained within the words of his prayer be felt in the deepest core of your being.

May the power of love and courage be embodied in each of us as we face darkness as beacons of light. May we light the way for others with joy and laughter, the weapons the darkness fears the most. May we gather together locally with the global idea that we are each a precious cell in the body of humanity with a loving gift to bring. May this wildfire of truth burn from the grassroots up, and may it vaporize the structures that no longer serve us. May the new leaders arise -- humble yet bold -- and may the structures emerge to help us create the maximum happiness using the minimum resources. May we understand that heaven is a practice, not a destination, and may we practice heaven until heaven becomes practically real. May we also understand that we choose which game we play in life, and now we must choose the world game as the only alternative to the end of the world game. We cannot know for sure the outcome, but we can know in our heart of hearts that it's the only game worth playing.

May we commemorate the next anniversary of 9/11 as a free people with nothing to fear from our own government, and may that government be a reflection of our highest aspirations for both good and freedom. May we do this for all humanity and for all our relations, and may we celebrate a new convenient truth ... global heartwarming.

X-Coaster Passengers Left Hanging Upside Down

Just after I finished posting my last entry on the "X", I opened to AOL and discovered this picture as a main headline. It was the X-Coaster words that certainly caught my eye.

It looks like this group got caught in the loop of time and are left hanging upside down. This sounds like most humans! Fourth Dimension or Time will keep you stuck in the loop, until you ramp up your energy fields into a higher vibration, and travel into the 5th! The Age of Aquarius is upon us!

(HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (June 10) - A dozen riders on a roller coaster spent half an hour hanging upside down - 150 feet above the ground - after a power outage shut down the attraction.

It took about 30 minutes for the city Fire Department to rescue the riders using a ladder truck Saturday evening, said Aundrea Crary, spokeswoman for the Springs & Crystal Falls amusement park.

Spectators cheered when the riders were brought to the ground from the highest point of a loop on the X-Coaster, but one passenger threw up after reaching safety.

The X-Coaster was one of several rides brought to a halt by the outage that originated somewhere near the park.

"X" Marks the Spot!

This past Tuesday was a very synchronistic day. There were many pictures of the "X" appearing before me, and my friend dropped by to give me a present. It was a large round clock with the hands at 10:10. The whole day seemed to want to get my attention. That evening I stopped by to visit a friend and was relating my day, when all of a sudden this "X" started forming on my car. This has happened one other time on July 4th two years ago. The 4th of July always reminds me it is really Freedom of the Soul we long for. This time there is a bright light in the middle of the "X". I believe it is a message that when we power up our energy and center it through the HEART.......we are able to move our awareness out of time, where true Freedom is felt.

This morning I opened a book entitled, "The Eye of the I" to a page and read, "In the Presence, all sense of time disappears, which is a crucial aspect of peace. Once the pressure of time ceases, it is recognized to have been perhaps one of the primary sources of distress that accompanies the human condition. Until the sensation of time stops, one does not have any possibility of knowing what real freedom or peace feels like."

Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace. The hearts of a great many have already been expose to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.

Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

· A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.

· An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.

· A loss of interest in judging other people.

· A loss of interest in judging self.

· A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.

· A loss of interest in conflict.

· A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)

· Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

· Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.

. Frequent attacks of smiling.

· An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than (try to) make them happen.

· An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

Mother's Day began with a woman named Julia Ward Howe, who nursed the wounded during the American Civil War. In 1870 she started a crusade to institute a Mother's Day as a Day for Peace. She said: "Arise all women who have hearts, say firmly: Our sons shall not be taken from us to unlearn all that we have been able to teach them of charity, mercy and patience. "We women of one country will be too tender of those of another country to allow our sons to be trained to injure theirs. Disarm! Disarm! "In the name of womanhood and of humanity; take counsel with each other as the means whereby the great human family can live in peace; promote the alliance of the different nationalities, amicable settlement of international questions, and great and general interests of peace."

Behind Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man Stands A Woman

Sandpoint, ID—Leonardo Da Vinci’s most famous drawing of “The Vitruvian Man” has a woman standing behind him in the circle.

A new analysis of this icon for natural living and holistic healing explains why both sexes are represented. Close inspection shows the woman stepped out of the box of earthly limitation into the cosmic circle depicting Divine unification.

The author of this research is a well known Harvard-trained scientist, Sir Leonard George Horowitz, honored last year by the World Organization for Natural Medicine as a “World Leading Intellectual.” His sixteenth book, LOVE the Real Da Vinci CODE, claims Da Vinci clearly honored women by drawing one behind Vitruvius. Her hands and feet touch the cosmic circle, whereas his remain confined to the earthy square.

Upon close examination Vitruvius appears to be angry, probably because he’s “stuck in the box.” His genitals are fixed at the center of the square that analysts equate to the earth. At the center of the circle is the female reproductive organ—the umbilicus.

“Da Vinci mastered mathematics and music theory,” Dr. Horowitz concludes. “He drew his observations from water investigations. We have proof that nature crystallizes from sound on water using spiraling sacred geometry.”

Molecules and body chemicals, for example, operate according to mathematical-musical laws, akin to following the path of least resistance in an energy grid or Divine plan. What other people think about me is none of my business! I had heard this statement a long time ago and always chuckle when I repeat it, as it contains some very wise advice. This sentence reflects the same sentiment of the article I read this morning written by Dr. Jodi Prinzivalli on, "The Art of Not Being Offended."

There is an ancient and well-kept secret to happiness which the Great Ones have known for centuries. They rarely talk about it, but they use it all the time, and it is fundamental to good mental health. This secret is called The Fine Art of Not Being Offended. In order to truly be a master of this art, one must be able to see that every statement, action and reaction of another human being is the sum result of their total life experience to date. In other words, the majority of people in our world say and do what they do from their own set of fears, conclusions, defenses and attempts to survive. Most of it, even when aimed directly at us, has nothing to do with us. Usually, it has more to do with all the other times, and in particular the first few times, that this person experienced a similar situation, usually when they were young.

Yes, this is psychodynamic. But let's face it, we live in a world where psychodynamics are what make the world go around. An individual who wishes to live successfully in the world as a spiritual person really needs to understand that psychology is as spiritual as prayer. In fact, the word psychology literally means the study of the soul.

All of that said, almost nothing is personal. Even with our closest loved ones, our beloved partners, our children and our friends. We are all swimming in the projections and filters of each other's life experiences and often we are just the stand-ins, the chess pieces of life to which our loved ones have their own built-in reactions. This is not to dehumanize life or take away the intimacy from our relationships, but mainly for us to know that almost every time we get offended, we are actually just in a misunderstanding. A true embodiment of this idea actually allows for more intimacy and less suffering throughout all of our relationships. When we know that we are just the one who happens to be standing in the right place at the right psychodynamic time for someone to say or do what they are doing-we don't have to take life personally. If it weren't us, it would likely be someone else.

This frees us to be a little more detached from the reactions of people around us. How often do we react to a statement of another by being offended rather than seeing that the other might actually be hurting? In fact, every time we get offended, it is actually an opportunity to extend kindness to one who may be suffering-even if they themselves do not appear that way on the surface. All anger, all acting out, all harshness, all criticism, is in truth a form of suffering. When we provide no Velcro for it to stick, something changes in the world. We do not even have to say a thing. In fact, it is usually better not to say a thing. People who are suffering on the inside, but not showing it on the outside, are usually not keen on someone pointing out to them that they are suffering. We do not have to be our loved one's therapist. We need only understand the situation and move on. In the least, we ourselves experience less suffering and at best, we have a chance to make the world a better place.

This is also not to be confused with allowing ourselves to be hurt, neglected or taken advantage of. True compassion does not allow harm to ourselves either. But when we know that nothing is personal, a magical thing happens. Many of the seeming abusers of the world start to leave our lives. Once we are conscious, so-called abuse can only happen if we believe what the other is saying. When we know nothing is personal, we also do not end up feeling abused. We can say, "Thank you for sharing," and move on. We are not hooked by what another does or says, since we know it is not about us. When we know that our inherent worth is not determined by what another says, does or believes, we can take the world a little less seriously. And if necessary, we can just walk away without creating more misery for ourselves or having to convince the other person that we are good and worthy people.

The great challenge of our world is to live a life of contentment,
regardless of what other people do, say, think or believe. The fine art of not being offended is one of the many skills for being a practical mystic. Though it may take a lifetime of practice, it is truly one of the best kept secrets for living a happy life.

Father and son discover the Holy Grail of music hidden away for 600 years on the columns of Rosslyn Chapel.

A father and son codebreaking team have discovered music's Holy Grail - hidden in intricate carvings at Rosslyn Chapel for almost 600 years. Music teacher Thomas Mitchell, 75, strived for 27 years before he and pianist son Stuart, 41, deciphered symbols in the chapel which featured in the Da Vinci Code book and film.

The pair will reveal the secret songs in a special concert at the Midlothian chapel next month. Thomas, of Edinburgh, said: "The music is the result of years of painstaking research, recreating secret notes hidden for almost 600 years in carvings on the arches within the chapel itself. "We believe this is the Holy Grail of music and, unlike the Da Vinci Code, it is absolutely factual."

Thomas was intrigued by the sculpted angels and hundreds of intricately carved cubes in the arches of the Lady Chapel. Using skills learned as an RAF code-breaker during the Korean War and his lifetime knowledge of classical music, he finally realised they depicted the vibrations of musical notes. He said: "It was a Eureka moment to end all Eureka moments. "Many angels were carrying musical instruments and some were even grouped as if they were a choir. "But one angel gave me the biggest problem. He was carrying something and at first I thought it was musical instrument which had been lost in the mists of time. "It was only when I realised that he was carrying a musical stave, the blueprint for all musical composition, that I knew I was looking at a secretly coded piece of music. "By recreating the patterns on each of the carved cubes, with Stuart's help, we unlocked the notes to find a haunting piece of music had been hidden in the arches for centuries. "For the choral sections, we've used the words from the hymns to St John the Baptist taken from Matthew in the Old Testament which is fitting because the chapel itself is dedicated to St Matthew."

Stuart, a classical composer and pianist, used computers to decipher the carvings' secret music. He has named the medieval music the Rosslyn Motet. He said: "I also used authentic mediaeval instruments to recreate the music exactly and it truly is a masterpiece. "While the Da Vinci Code was full of red herrings to make it a thrilling work of fiction, the Rosslyn Motet music is a tangible work people can listen to. For centuries, scholars have been convinced Rosslyn holds the key to many different areas of knowledge. "We think we've cracked one particularly fascinating code, although we're convinced Rosslyn holds many, many more."

Four singers will join eight musicians playing mediaeval instruments to perform the Rosslyn Motet at Rosslyn on May 18. Simon Beattie, of the Rosslyn Chapel Trust, said: "We're looking forward to the event as this is a such an exciting and intriguing piece of work. "The music is particularly haunting and we cannot help feel this is yet another of the many puzzles that make Rosslyn such an astonishing place."

Rosslyn Chapel was built by Sir William Sinclair and Sir Gilbert Haye in the 15th century. Steeped in the history of the Knights Templar and Freemasonry, Rosslyn's mysteries are famous worldwide. Among the theories surrounding Rosslyn is that it is the secret resting place of the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant and even the mummified head of Christ.

How They Did It

1. Carved angels and blocks above their head in arches of chapel baffled Thomas until he realised this one was holding a musical stave - and that the blocks signified notes.
2. Using this specially enhanced photo, Thomas and Stuart worked out that the carvings above the angel represent A, B and C.
3. Thomas and Stuart used this metal plate to recreate the ancient method of making notes. The plate is vibrated and sand poured on until it forms a particular pattern - indicating the correct pitch. The patterns match those carved into the arches of Rosslyn Chapel.

No Clinging Allowed...........Each path is individual and must be walked alone. This is YOUR journey, yet the creator allows for a vine and many new buds to form and grow from the same source. Our friends and family are our "buddies," yet each must grow according to their own original divine blueprint.

Why the Rose as each flower in the garden of life is beautiful and has great purpose? My Grandmother was of Irish descent and a little of her energy (DNA) remains in me. At family gatherings when I was young, I was often asked to play a little tune on the organ, and the one song that normally came to mind was, "My Wild Irish Rose."

It was in this song that I could feel an energy brewing that was alive and always moving towards a sense of freedom. It is through our senses and opening to our inner senses, that one will finally understand what it means to be truly free. One cannot cling to another, or anything, but rather remember their own individuated self and unfold their beautiful petals (essence) to discover the center of their being.

As the rambler moves quickly through thought form not clinging to it, releasing judgement and attachment to it, one may free themselves from the prison of their own mind.

Some Things I have Learned From Living on the Edge by Richard Birdsall

The other day a friend forwarded me an email sent to him by his friend and retired pastor - Richard Birdsall. His words touched me as I read them, and I could see how the gift of his cancer did indeed transform and contribute to his personal healing and finding the peace within that so calls to all of us. I for one am glad that he broke from tradition, and wrote these words that have so inspired many others to start thinking outside of the box.

Living on the edge may help give energy for our wings to take flight!

SOME THINGS I HAVE LEARNED FROM LIVING ON THE EDGE

I Cor. 13

I know what I am about to do this morning is not very traditional, but I would like to share with you something about my experience of living with cancer and what it has taught me about life, death, love, peace and God. I want to do this because we all know people with cancer or we might even be diagnosed with it ourselves. What I am going to share with you is not unique but very individual, and yet it has some very strong universal characteristics. People living with cancer have an immediate connection when meeting. It is almost like we know each other because we share a common disease even though we may not have ever met. We have, in one way or another, walked the same road and share some common experiences.

When you receive the diagnosis of cancer, especially when there is no realistic hope of a cure, you are suddenly in a whole new world. It is both awful and yet amazing, it is terrifying and yet invigorating, it is grieving and yet you are alive like never before. You experience life at a whole other level, every feeling, every emotion, every experience, every touch, every friend, every sunrise or sunset or even a flower are suddenly appreciated at a level never before experienced. It is horrible and yet marvelous at the same time as you realize you may be dying and yet you are suddenly so much more alive than ever before and everything around you takes on more meaning than you ever thought possible. It is what I call “living on the edge” and it is difficult to experience and maintain when your health is good and you take life so much for granted. Believe it or not when I am in remission I miss living on the edge. I have difficulty maintaining it because I am not in crisis. I try hard to live with appreciation and gratitude but I have to work at it because the crisis of dying is not imminent. Once you have experienced it your whole life is changed. I wish I could have discovered this without the disease but I don’t think, at least not for me, it would have been possible.

LIVING ON THE EDGE MEANS LIVING WITH A SENSE OF GRATITUDE.

You suddenly have a new appreciation for almost everything. All of life, everything has new color. There is almost a compulsion to thank everyone around you for their love and friendship, every relationship takes on new value, you find yourself studying the features of your loved ones, the lines in their faces, the shape of their hands, the way they move and laugh; you see things in them that you simply overlooked before, you just want to grab them and hug the living daylights out of them and tell them how much you love them and thank them for giving their love to you in return. You find yourself saying over and over again to your spouse “thank you for loving me”. You feel so blessed, so grateful and you are overwhelmed with thanksgiving. Going through this I began to realize we are built for survival if we give and receive love messages. This, it seems to me, is the core of our essential humanity whose nature is peace and whose expression is thought and whose action is giving and receiving love. Thus this passage of scripture this morning, so familiar to all of us: in essence what Paul is saying here is----------if you don’t know how to give and receive love, you miss what life is all about; you miss what it means to be a human being, you can do everything right but if you have not love the only sound you make is like a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. Without giving and receiving love our life song is out of tune, nothing more than musical dissonance, off key with no harmony in our lives, no pure life music, only sounds that hurt the ear. That’s what one’s life is like without love. Love is basic to our humanity; it is our core. The old song is right-------- ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE----- “RA TADA TADA”.

You also marvel at the world around you, sometimes you stop and close your eyes and just listen to the sounds of life. Even a smallest insect that sometimes we just squash without even thinking about it becomes a marvel in and of itself because it contains life, a marvelous life of its’ own. You look at mountains differently, you get as close as you can to a flower and look at the detail, the intricacy of each petal, and you are so thankful to be able just to hold it in total amazement. All of life is filled with loving intensity.

LIVING ON THE EDGE HAS OPENED THE DOOR TO GAIN A GREAT DEAL OF SELF KNOWLEDGE.

You learn so much about yourself so fast that it is a roller coaster ride, new ideas, fresh thoughts, internal understanding all rush into your consciousness with such speed you can hardly take it all in. Our disease can speak to us and if we open the doors of perception I think we may be amazed at what comes in and you realize that you can use your pain for personal transformation. Somehow you understand that if you die you want to die healed and if you are going to survive you have to change in order to heal. You realize the only time you can be alive is in the moment, the Buddhists call it “living mindfully.” You stop feeling sorry for yourself because even in the midst of dying you begin to realize that this whole process is worth every minute because you have learned so much about yourself. Cancer has been a wake up call for me, I have been graced with cancer, it has been the best teacher I have ever had, I have had some great teachers who have given me ideas, but this one has taught me to experience my life. How can I not be grateful for being blessed in this way?

LIVING ON THE EDGE HAS TUGHT ME HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO FIND YOUR PEACE.

I had an appointment with my Dr. a week and a half ago, I want to go off my medication for a while just to see if we can find something else that works, he said “you and your cancer have a symbiotic relationship,” “I said that is correct, I decided a long time ago not to fight cancer but to make a deal with it and it went like this. “We can work this out, we can live together, I am not asking you to die but don’t kill me either for if you do then we both die, let’s just plan to live together.” I stopped praying for instant healing, for God told me to stop my complaining, that God had given me everything I need and to just trust it. My prayer then changed to “whatever the future holds I will receive it as a gift from your hand.” I turned it over, I practiced the discipline of relinquishing. And I began to heal, not be cured but began to heal and I found my peace. I became aware that I was able to relax with my disease as never before. Finding your peace is so important. We are all terminal, we are all going to die, none of us are going to get out of this thing alive. So it is not really, when you stop to think about it, whether we live or die but how are we going to live? How do I find my peace? I think people who survive learn how to embrace life and find their peace rather than trying to figure out how to avoid death.

LIVING ON THE EDGE HAS TAUGHT ME MORE ABOUT GOD

God is so much greater than our personal or pet theologies; God is not going to stay inside the box of our dogmatic belief systems. As I said during our last communion service, “when we come before God we do not come with all our accomplishments, all of our comforts, all of our titles, not even all our wealth or power. God is simply not interested in the kind of stuff we strive for here on this earth. We come before God stripped naked, barefoot with only our soul in our cupped hands, all of our theologies and pet belief systems are to no avail. We come with nothing and when we do that we realize the marvelous grace, healing forgiveness and the accepting love of God. We do not have to perform, we can just be. I think only when we are able to do that do we find out who we really are and become free to be nothing more than that and yet everything we were meant to be. No pretence, no wondering what other people think, no one upmanship or trying to be accepted or to impress, you are free to become the person God meant you to be. You can call it being born again, being converted or whatever, it does not matter; God in Jesus finds us and when that happens we find ourselves as well.” I keep telling my grandkids, “no one can live your life for you, your life is your gift and if you fail to live it no one else can do it for you. Find out who you are.”

Jesus was his own person and seeks us out so that we can find out who we are as well. He did not live inside the box, he broke with tradition, with orthodoxy, with the culture of the day; he loved everyone he met and in the process broke down all kinds of barriers that have a tendency to divide and separate people from their own humanity. We all bleed the same way.

Again in the words of Ellie Wiesel, “When I stand before the judgment, God will not ask me why I did not become a messiah, or why didn’t you find a cure for cancer? The only thing we are going to be asked at that precious moment is why didn’t you become you?”

When I was pastor of the church in Issaquah, once a month I used to hold services at a local care center in a division that was marked “Senile Ward”. I guess now we would call it an Alzheimer’s unit. It was a locked room, most of the people in there could not hold a conversation, they could remember the old hymns and could recite the Lord’s Prayer but that was about it. There was one lady I will never forget, she had long gray hair and when I went to shake her hand she would gently take my hand put it up to her lips, kiss my hand and say to me, “You are such a beautiful person.” Every time she did that it moved me, she touched my heart with her words. The fact that she said the same thing to everyone who greeted her made no difference. I will never forget her. I keep her alive by telling this story whenever I can. In doing so I honor her. Here was a woman supposedly mentally incompetent doing for me what few sane people have ever done, the simple act of kissing my hand and telling me how beautiful I was. That act and those words still linger in my mind; they still move me whenever I think about them. We can do that for each other, if not literally then by the way we treat each other. And God does that hundreds of times a day, ------------every day. God kisses us, warts and all, and whispers into our lives over and over until we begin to believe it, words of grace------“you are a beautiful person.”

Other books: Norman Cousin’s “Anatomy of an Illness”, Siegel’s “Love, Medicine & Miracles, Joan Borysenko’s “Minding the Body, Mending the Mind”, Carl Simonton’s “Getting Well Again” are just a few of the many others that have been helpful to me. There are other concepts, which are also important, but how much can you get into one sermon?

North Carolina - Kannapolis churches abuzz about 'disruptions'

Kannapolis Police say something very bizarre happened at several churches this past Sunday. It was a disruption, they say, that left some church goers fearful and others saying “it's a God thing.”

Nearly a dozen churches reported the same thing to police: three men walked into their church during Sunday morning’s service. They walked right up to the pulpit and began speaking Hebrew.

David Lewkowicz is the pastor at West Point Baptist Church and understood what they were saying.

“They said things like, ‘God is peace, God is love, God is comfort, God is joy.’ That is all they said to me,” Lewkowicz said.

The men stayed at the churches for about two or three minutes, then left.

“They didn’t say anything bad about God or offend the church in anyway. They came in peace and left in peace,” Lewkowicz said.

Still some other congregations are concerned about exactly what the men may have been up to. One church reported the men dropping to their knees as they entered the door, then they got up and left.

Lewkowicz said it comes with the territory of being a pastor – he has to be ready for just about anything on Sunday mornings.

“We have to be open minded to anyone that may walk through those doors. Some people thought it was cool that some Hebrew guys came in and I understood them. They think it was a ‘God thing.’ We will have to wait and see,” Lewkowicz said.

Police said these men didn’t commit a crime. If they had refused to leave, it would have been a misdemeanor offense. But the church pastors said they were peaceful and posed no threat at the time.

Los Angeles , Alta California - October 18, 2005 - (ACN) On March of this year, physics professor and astronomer Scott Hyman of Sweet Briar College made a startling announcement. Dr. Hyman and his colleagues wrote in the science journal Nature that they had detected something very extraordinary at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy.

While analyzing low frequency radio wave images taken by the Very Large Array telescope at Socorro , New Mexico in 2002, Dr. Hyman and his his fellow researchers detected an intermittent signal that seemed intelligently directed. The signal consisted of five highly energetic radio emissions of equal brightness that lasted 10 minutes each and appeared every 77 minutes over a 7-hour period from September 30 to October 1. The discovery has left Professor Scott Hyman and the entire astronomy community "scratching their heads".

What are these strange rumblings at the center of our Galaxy? Modern day astrophysicists and astronomers, with their sophisticated scientific instruments, are not the only humans that have contemplated this very same question. In fact, the ancient Mayas, the superb astronomers and mathematicians that they were, also mused on what may exist at the center of our Galaxy.

The Mayas knew exactly where this center was located in the sky and had a glyph representing it named Hunab Ku by Dr. Jose Arguelles of Princeton University , but known to the Mayas as "The Galactic Butterfly". Much more, their entire cosmology and extremely accurate calendars were based on the existence and location of Hunab Ku and they believed that the future of mankind ultimately depends on what occurs there.

Hunab Ku was, to the Mayas, the supreme God and ultimate Creator. It represented the gateway to other Galaxies beyond our Sun as well as all of the Consciousness that has ever existed in this Galaxy. Hunab Ku, according to the Mayas, is also the Consciousness which organized all matter, from a "whirling disk", into stars, planets and solar systems.

Hunab Ku is the "Mother Womb" which is constantly giving birth to new stars and it gave birth to our own Sun and Planet Earth. They also believed that the "Creator" directs everything that happens in our Galaxy from its center through the emanation of periodic "Consciousness Energy" bursts. Today, modern astronomers have verified that at the center of our Galaxy is a "whirling disk" with a "Black Hole" at its center that is both swallowing and giving birth to stars. Could the strange rumblings observed by Dr. Scott Hyman and his associates earlier this year at the center of our Galaxy be connected with what the Mayas believed?

There appears to be a convergence between what the Mayas believed and understood and what modern scientists are discovering about our Galaxy today. One big difference is how modern physicists view and how the ancient Mayas viewed "Time". Today, physicists view Time as being linear. Time according to modern precepts flows in a straight line. Time can slow down, as per Albert Einstein, but it always flows in one direction.

In contrast, the Mayas believed essentially that Time flows in a circle. There is a beginning and an end to things but there is a renewal at the end of the Time cycle. There is a "periodicity" to all manifested phenomena. The Mayan highly accurate Long Count Calendar is based on this precept. The Mayas also believed that Time originates out of the Hunab Ku and is controlled by it.

It is very difficult to dismiss the Mayan Cosmology because they left extraordinary evidence that their "Time" keeping methodologies give extremely accurate results. Their pyramids like the one at Chichen-Itza in Mexico are precisely aligned to the the yearly Solstices and the Equinoxes that are caused by the precession of the Earth's axis as it orbits the Sun. The Pyramid of Kukulcan at Chichen-Itza is essentially a superb and highly accurate Time keeping devise that never fails to mark the yearly "Precession of the Equinoxes".

The ancient Mayan astronomers accurately predicted, over 1500 years ago, the exact alignment of the Earth, the Sun, the star cluster Pleiades and of the center of our Galaxy that will take place at the end of the present long cycle on the Gregorian year 2012. On the Mayan Long Calendar the day designated as 4 Ahau 3 Kankin (13.0.0.0.0) falls on December 21, 2012 and this day will mark "El Fin de los Tiempos" or the end of the long cycle at which time humanity will experience a new beginning. On this day, according to the Mayas and subsequent Meso-American civilizations, the return of Kukulcan (Quetzalcoatl) will take place.

On December 21, 2012 which coincides with the Winter Solstice and as the Sun sets west of Chichen-Itza, a pattern of shadow and light will project the Plumed Serpent (Quetzalcoatl) descending on the stairs of the pyramid that has a large head of a serpent sculpted in rock at the base. This occurs twice in Chichen Itza every year but on the Winter Solstice of December 21, 2012 something very special will happen.

As the Sun sets in the early afternoon, the shadow of the pyramid's northwest edge will project a moving pattern of light that joins and illuminates the sculpted serpent head at the base of the stairway. Within a thirty-four minute period, the serpent, formed by this play of light and shadow will appear to descend to the earth, as the sun leaves each stair, going from the top to the bottom. This combined effect creates the visual appearance of the body of the serpent descending the pyramid.

In addition, on December 21, 2012, the tail of the serpent projected up from the top of the pyramid will be pointing precisely to the star cluster Pleiades. The pyramids at Teotihuacán which means "City of the Gods", constructed by a Meso-American civilization just north of Mexico City that preceded the Mayas, are also aligned to the Pleiades as are the Egyptian pyramids at Giza . This is not all, on December 21, 2012 at around 11:11 universal time, there will be a precise alignment of our Sun with the Galactic center (Hunab Ku).

Exactly what will happen on December 21, 2012 still remains a mystery but it seems that we are receiving stronger and stronger clues. The Mayas certainly placed great significance to this date. It is still 7 years away but our World is already experiencing unprecedented, extreme and rapid changes. The number and magnitude of "natural" catastrophes appear to be increasing exponentially. Scientists have detected extreme and erratic behavior in our Sun that in turn is having strong effects on our Earth's atmosphere and measurable effects on the other planets in our solar system as well.

Could the strange rumblings detected by Dr. Scott Hyman at the center of our Galaxy be a cause of the weather and other changes we are experiencing here on Earth today? Will these energetic bursts from Hunab Ku increase in number and intensity as we approach the year 2012? The Mayas would answer "Yes". On December 12, 2012 the Mayas said that mankind will enter and begin a new Era of heightened Consciousness. Perhaps, a colossal emission of a yet unknown form of energy will burst out of our Galactic Center on December 21, 2012 that will change the very physics of our World, a new physics that will last until the next cycle.

Happy New Year everyone! I wish you a happy, healthy, and fun filled year. Last year was a number eight year which was very hard for many people. It brought lots of lessons concerning money, power, control, sex, and death. Many people chose to leave the Earth plane last year and this caused sorrow for many people. I think many of you knew someone who died last year because that was the energy of 2006.

Now we are in a number nine year. Nine is the number of completion which means that lots of things will end this year, although there will also be many new beginnings like our new Congress. The House and Senate are now controlled by the Democrats. This shows me that people wanted a change in our government.

We now have a woman who is Speaker of the House. Do you realize that if something happens to Bush and Cheney, Nancy Pelosi would be our new president? Wouldn't that be interesting?

Nancy Pelosi is an Aries, which is a fire sign and considered the sign of a leader with lots of energy. She has lots of drive to obtain what she wants. According to her chart she is very outspoken, creative, and original. She can deal very well with other races and foreign countries.

She is a very magnetic (feminine) person who has lots of charm. She is a very deep thinker and may even be a genius who can surmount difficulty by seeing a way around problems. She is a very good speaker and can get her ideas across to people. Maybe she will be able to bring ethics back into our governing system. She was born on March 26, 1940 at 10:32 PM in Baltimore, Md.

George Bush is a Cancer who has Uranus opposing his Mars right now. This aspect is very hard for him to deal with because it brings a lot of opposition into his life. This makes him want to fight for what he thinks is right no matter what anyone else thinks.

Mars will activate his Sun the first week of February. This is not good for him or our country. Remember, he came in as a war president because the US Mars is conjunct his node. There will be a total lunar eclipse on March 3 that will activate his Mars energy big time. He is experiencing a lot of fighting energy right now.

Neptune has been conjunct the United States moon, which is 18 degrees Aquarius, for the past year. Neptune rules scandals and is continuing to bring hidden information out into the open for all who are interested to see.

Saturn has been opposing Neptune and this aspect rules fear. Every time we watch the news we are being bombarded with fear. This means it's time to release any fear energy you may still be experiencing. Neptune is also a feminine spiritual planet and this energy can be used positively for incorporating positive energy into our government.

The energy of number nine is very fast- paced and if you think last year went by fast, watch what happens this year. Christ energy vibrates to number nine because that is what the word love manifests. Love equals 3+6+4+5 which adds up to the number 18/9. Lots of unconditional love will manifest on Earth this year.

Even though the number eight is known to rule money, the actual word money adds up to nine. Money equals 4+6 +5+5 +7 which adds up to 27/9. The word anger adds up to 1+5+7+5+9 which also equals 27/9. There will be lots of energy around Love, Anger, and Money this year.

It's time to release any hidden anger that may still be stored in your body so you can manifest love. There is an excellent book called, Acupressure for Emotional Healing by Michael Reed Gach, PH.D and Beth Ann Henning, Dipl A.B.T. This book tells you how to release stress, anger, and other things.

This year is the completion of a nine year cycle. The things that were started in 1998 will become complete this year. In November of 1998 the Earth first reached zero magnetics and the poles started to shift. Because of the huge solar flare in December 2006, a major anomaly has been detected in the Earths Magnetic Field leading scientists to believe that a huge earthquake is imminent.

There will be a lot of male energy in effect this year with Jupiter and Pluto both in the fire sign of Sagittarius and Saturn is in Leo. This means there will be lots of action on all levels, and with Jupiter in Sagittarius all year the cry for freedom is going to be heard around the world.

The planet Pluto, which is considered the transformer, is still in the ninth sign of Sagittarius which rules the banking system. The banking system has been transforming behind the scenes for quite awhile. I believe this transformation will come out into the open this year, especially after the planet Mars conjuncts Pluto on top of the Galactic Center on January 13. This change could be either positive or negative. Time will tell!

There is also a comet in our solar system at this time. This comet can be seen from the Southern Hemisphere. Comets are messengers. What is this comet trying to tell us? Could it be telling us to be aware of this powerful energy surge that is coming into our solar system on January 13? Mars and Pluto together are very explosive so I am expecting some explosions on Earth. This aspect may also affect our Sun and cause it to flare. As above, so below.

Vladimir Putin has his Mars on 26 degrees Sagittarius. This means he will be directly affected by the Mars/Pluto conjunction. He is going to have a tremendous desire for power at this time. I believe he wants to be a major player on the world scene so keep your eyes on what he does.

The conjunction of Mars, Pluto, and the Galactic Center happens in the sign that rules fires, mountains, law, courts of law, lawyers, religion, schools, and the banking system. All of these areas will be affected by this planetary energy this year.

Pluto has been moving through Sagittarius since 1995 and activating things ruled by that sign. . Many new laws have been passed including Homeland Security which restricts our freedom. Those laws were passed because of a religious terrorist war. This war has been going on for a long time and may heat up with this powerful energy in effect, particularly in the Middle East, including Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and Africa.

Along with an expected change in the world banking system, mountains or volcanoes may explode with this energy. I believe we will start to see lots of volcanic eruptions. There will also be lots of fires around the world as the year continues.

Jupiter is a large planet and brings large events. We can watch how the energy from this planet works on the Earth plane. In November the planets lined up in Scorpio, a water sign, and we had major storms and floods in the Pacific Northwest.

Then the planets lined up in Asklepius, a wind sign, and we had a tremendous wind storm in December in the Pacific Northwest. Some people were out of power for up to 8 days and the winds did tremendous damage. Jupiter is still affecting our area as the storms blow in and then dump snow in the Cascade Mountains which has had an abundance of snow.

The state of Colorado is also under the affect of Jupiter. They have had three major storms in the last month or so. Jupiter will be affecting the area from the Cascade Mountains to the Mississippi River all year long, so look for major Earth changes in those areas. California is also under the effects of Jupiter. The hot desert lands are ruled by the fire sign Sagittarius.

We also have Uranus, the planet of change, in the water sign Pisces. Uranus will stay in that sign until 2010, which means that water events like storms and flooding will continue all over the world. Uranus moved into Pisces in 2003, and in December of 2004 there was a major Tsunami. There has been major flooding since that planet went into Pisces including the ice melting at the poles. These events will continue into 2010.

We are definitely in the End Times. The Poles are not only melting, they are also shifting and the weather is crazy. We are experiencing Global Warming and this is the first time in modern history that we have had the technology to destroy ourselves. We have been experiencing the Book of Revelations since the Federal Reserve Bank was set up in 1913, and the First World War started in 1918.

Energy is just energy and can be used either positively or negatively depending on how a person decides to think. This could be the year when we start manifesting abundance because we are starting to be happy. Feeling happy, no matter what circumstance you are in, is the first step in creating what you choose to experience.

It's important to bless everything in your life every day. Wake up each morning and give thanks for the wonderful day. Accept where you are in life with joy and happiness. Live life fully. With the high frequency energy now manifesting on Earth, anything is possible.

As one might expect, this was not a scene from Western medical care. The rare video showed a routine healing in a medicineless hospital formerly active in Beijing. Presented during a joint conference in Phoenix2 by N.Y. Times best-selling author Gregg Braden and renowned cellular biologist, Dr. Bruce H. Lipton, it offered the captivated audience a taste of the secrets of the Quantum Field.

Braden and Lipton’s research in their respective scientific disciplines has resulted in a pair of treasure maps leading to the same chest of spiritual riches. The deepest mysteries of religion and spirituality have, for the most part, eluded Western seekers. But in a surprise ending, it is science that comes to the rescue.
Braden notes that we are an "intentional species" unbound by the laws of physics or biology. "We have been taught that emotions and belief don’t have much power in our lives, but nothing could be further from the Truth… We have the power to heal our bodies, we have the power to alter reality, we have the power to choose peace where there wasn’t peace 24 hours ago."

And the prospect of learning how to heal ourselves comes in the nick of time, considering the insufficiency of health insurance and more importantly, in light of studies showing allopathic medicine itself is the leading cause of death in the USA.3
We have the power to heal our environment as well. "Global warming is just the Earth’s fever trying to kill off the organisms interfering with it," notes Lipton. "It’s time for us to take our power back and recreate the garden that used to be here."

Our own thought processes provide the key to this transformation.
"Your thoughts are not contained in your head — they are a part of the Quantum Field," Lipton continues. "When playing through your nervous system, the thoughts generate a vibratory field similar to that of a tuning fork. Thought vibrations interact and entangle with harmonically-resonant structures in the Field. Simply, we activate and bring into our lives the things that we think about the most. Psychologists reveal that over 70% of our thoughts are negative and redundant. Do the math!"

The secrets of our deepest empowerment can be discovered by unlocking the door to our relationship to the Quantum Field, and Lipton and Braden offer us the keys in their interviews with Awareness Magazine.

Meryl Ann Butler: Thank you, Gregg, for sharing your thoughts with us. Will you explain more about this Field of energy?

Gregg Braden: Thank you for inviting me. Yes, scientists have not yet agreed on a term for it but they agree it has three distinct qualities: it is everywhere always, it has been here from the beginning, and it has an intelligence that responds to human emotion. It sounds a lot like God!

Lynne McTaggart calls it the Field.4 Others call it a Quantum Hologram, or the Mind of God. I call it the Divine Matrix5 in my upcoming book.

This Field is the stuff of which our bodies and our world are made. Academic and research organizations have demonstrated the fact — and it is accepted as fact now, not just as theory — that this Field exists. It holds the blueprint of all possibilities we will ever know or experience in our world, everything from perfect health, longevity, peace, abundance, successful careers and loving relationships to the blackest moments of the darkest prophecies, the most horrible diseases, or the greatest destruction we could ever imagine.

All those experiences exist as possibilities, as unrealized potential in this Quantum Essence. The choices that we make in each moment are what breathe life into these energetic blueprints.

MAB: How can we unleash this powerful force?

GB: Once Western science acknowledged the existence of the Field, the scientists started asking ‘what do we do with it?’ And this is where ancient spiritual traditions become so valuable, because many of them begin at the place where our science has just now arrived.

Spiritual traditions of the past are born of the understanding that we are all connected by spiritual energy, and what one person does in one place has an effect on what is happening in other parts of the world. That is a fundamental premise of the ancient traditions, whether from the native North American or the aboriginal traditions, the Quechua traditions in the Andes, the Tibetan or traditional Buddhist traditions, or the ancient Essenes who believed to be the authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

As different as they appear to be from one another, all of these sacred traditions say that we are all connected through a Divine Matrix or Essence. And through this field we are each part of one another, part of our world and part of a greater existence they call God. So this Essence is where the marriage of science and spirituality brings us to a greater wisdom, more than science or spiritual traditions can offer alone.

MAB: So, would you say this union creates something greater than the sum of its parts?

GB: Precisely. When we ask ourselves who we are in the world, our greatest sources of knowledge come from science, spirituality and culture. So when we marry all of those ways of knowing into a greater wisdom, it empowers us to participate. I am using that word intentionally.

This is not about control or manipulation of our world. This is about participating in the outcome of the healing of our bodies, healing of our families, the peace in our communities and peace between nations, because they are all linked through this Essence, they are all part of the same Field of energy.

MAB: Is that what you are referring to when you ask the question, "Are you a passive observer or a powerful creator?"

GB: Well, quantum physicists have arrived at the understanding that there are no observers — it is impossible for anyone to simply observe the world around them. If we are watching something and we have thoughts, feelings, emotions and beliefs about it, which we all will, then by virtue of this Field, we have become part of what we are watching. And this is what is showing up in the laboratory experiments.
MAB: Are you saying that we are basically always creating, whether it is by intention or by default?

GB: Yes, if we define intention as the act of observing our world with an expectation of an outcome. We are always creating, even when we are not aware of what we are creating. We can’t not create!

Everywhere we look, consciousness will put something there for us to see. If you are awake and conscious, you are creating. So, what does it mean when you are trained to look for something you don’t want? What does it mean to keep looking for a lump in a breast?

Intentionality is where we can tip the scales in our favor!

MAB: Does everyone on the planet need to learn the language of the Quantum Field in order to create a better world?

GB: Each one of us already knows this language. It is a nonverbal language; there are no words or other outward expressions. Everyone has everything they need to create joy and abundance and health in their lives every day. What scientists are finding is precisely what ancient texts tell us, the language this Field recognizes is the language of human feeling and human emotion. It does not take every person in the world expressing the same feeling to create an effect.

The studies show that a relatively few number of people with a focused intention have tremendous leverage in terms of affecting how our reality is responding, both in our bodies and in our world.

One famous example was a research project done during the Israeli-Lebanese war in the early 1980’s.6 In this study, people who had been trained to feel the feeling of peace in their bodies were positioned in war-torn areas in the Middle East.

When they were intentionally feeling peace during specific windows of time, it changed the level of violence happening in the area around them in statistically significant ways. Crime, hospital emergency room activity, and traffic accidents declined, and terrorist activities stopped altogether. And when the practitioners stopped, then all those activities reversed.

Since these practitioners had been trained by Maharishi7 in TM techniques, this phenomenon became known as the Maharishi Effect.

And the results were so clear-cut that the researchers were able to determine the exact percentage of a population needed to create this effect. That amount is the square root of 1% of a given population. So, when that critical mass of practitioners participated, the threshold opened up and we began to see the effects. Obviously, the more people who participate, the faster we are going to see those effects.

The square root of 1% is just 100 people per million, or only about 8,000 in the current world population of 6.5 billion. That is all it takes to make the difference.
Whether we are talking about one woman’s healing in the video of the dissolving tumor, or about healing between nations — as different as they seem from one another — the principal and the effect are the same.

MAB: At the Phoenix workshop you mentioned you were on the edge of some exciting new research developments.

GB: Yes, this is the 20th year I have offered this work in one form or another, but as different as the various aspects of my work appear, they are all focused and directed at empowering us to become better people and creating a better world.

The God Code8 research is ongoing and we are working with researchers in other parts of the world in translating the human genome into the languages and the letters of alphabets that can be read like the pages of a book. We hope to have more information to share about the deeper layers of these translations before the end of this year.

What we are talking about is another aspect of that work. We now know from the first layer of these translations, as I discussed in The God Code, that we are an intentional species, we know we are no fluke of nature, we are not an accident of biology, we are here on purpose and appear to be wired to create in our world.
Through the work Dr. Bruce Lipton, my colleagues, and I are doing, we are finding that we are not bound by the laws of physics and biology that, in the past, we believed were limiting us. That work is ongoing, continuing to reveal new expressions of freedom. If we are not bound by the laws of physics, and if we are not bound by the laws of biology, then suddenly we become tremendously powerful beings!

And if we are free of those laws, it means we are free of the limits we believe are imposed by our DNA and space and time and distance and aging and longevity, and all the implications that go with that! So all of these are married together into a very exciting and empowering way of looking at ourselves and our world. And the key is that we are a part of everything we see and experience rather than separate from it.
If we are part of that Divine Matrix, we are given the gift, the ability and the blessing that allow us to transform our bodies and our world into life-affirming expressions of that connection rather than life-denying expressions. To me, that is the exciting thing about our new discoveries and where this work is going!
MAB: How did the two of you end up sharing this workshop?

GB: I was a fan of Dr. Bruce Lipton’s work before we ever met. We both began our work in the mid-80’s, our paths had crossed a number of times and we became friends. Our work seemed so different, but we were always looking for a way we could share it together.

I came from the perspective of studying the physical world of our external reality, and Bruce from the biological world of our internal reality… and as Bruce’s work evolved into the biology of belief and my work evolved into the Divine Matrix and the power of belief to change and alter our reality, suddenly our respective work connected in a very natural fit.

We first presented a workshop together as an experiment at the ARE/Edgar Cayce Headquarters9 in 2003. Then we took that workshop to Australia and now across the U.S.

It has been a wonderful window of opportunity to marry our messages into what I believe is a very potent, powerful understanding of who we are in the world. What we believe and how we feel about ourselves and our world is actually the code that allows us the power to create and heal and bring joy and peace into our lives. That is the message Bruce and I have come together to offer. And within the context of what we are seeing on the six o’clock news, I think now it is perhaps more timely than ever.

MAB: Bruce, the merging of your and Gregg Braden’s work is so exciting! Thank you for your willingness to share some of your thoughts with us.

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton: Thanks, I’m happy to participate!

MAB: The premise of your book "The Biology of Belief" is that humans are not, as was previously believed, victims of our genes, but that the environment has a direct effect on our DNA. Would you elaborate?

BL: Sure. Until recently, it was thought that genes were self-actualizing, meaning genes could turn themselves on and off. As a result, most people today believe they are genetic automatons, and that their genes control their lives.

But my research introduces a radical new understanding of cell science. The new biology reveals that we ‘control’ our genome rather than being controlled by it. It is now recognized that the environment, and more specifically, our perception or interpretation of the environment directly controls the activity of our genes. This explains why people can have spontaneous remissions or recover from injuries deemed to be permanent disabilities.

MAB: Then it really is about "mind over matter"?

BL: Yes, this new perspective of human biology does not view the body as just a mechanical device, but rather incorporates the role of a mind and spirit. This breakthrough is fundamental in all healing because it recognizes that when we change our perception or beliefs we send totally different messages to our cells, causing a reprogramming of their _expression.

This new science is called epigenetics. It’s been around for about 16 years, but it’s just now being introduced to the general public. For example, The American Cancer Society is an organization that has been looking for cancer genes for the last 50 years or so. But they’ve found that only about 5 percent of cancer has genetic linkage, leaving 95% that is not genetically linked. Recently the American Cancer Society released a statistic that said 60 percent of cancer is avoidable by changing lifestyle and diet. So now they are telling us, "It’s the way you live, it’s not your genes."

MAB: So the long sought-after "Fountain of Youth" could be right inside ourselves?

BL: Within every one of our bodies at this very moment, there are billions of stem cells, embryonic cells designed to repair or replace damaged tissues and organs.
However, the activity and fate of these regenerative cells are epigenetically controlled. That means they are profoundly influenced by our thoughts and perceptions about the environment. Hence our beliefs about aging can either interfere with or enhance stem cell function, causing our physiological regeneration or decline.

MAB: What part does evolution play in this?

BL: Well, as it turns out, Darwin was wrong. Current science overrides Darwin’s theories emphasizing competition and struggle, but this information can take years to get into the textbooks. Cooperation and community are actually the underlying principles of evolution, as well as the underlying principles of cell biology. The human body represents the cooperative effort of a community of fifty-trillion single cells. A community, by definition, is an organization of individuals committed to supporting a shared vision.

Jean-Baptiste Lamarck had it right fifty years before Darwin. In 1809, Lamarck wrote the problems that will beset humanity will come from separating ourselves from nature, and that will lead to the dissolution of society. His understanding of evolution was that an organism and its environment create a cooperative interaction. If you want to understand the fate of an organism, you have to understand its relationship to the environment. He recognized that separating ourselves from our environment cuts us off from our source. He was right.

And when you understand the nature of epigenetics, you see his theory is now substantiated. With no mechanism to make sense of his theory before, and especially since we bought the concept of neo-Darwinian biologists who said the human body was subject to genetic control, Lamarck looked stupid. But guess what? New leading-edge science reveals he was right, after all.

MAB: So, how does this play out on the cellular level?

BL: Information from the environment is transferred to the cell via the cell membrane. We used to think that the cell nucleus was the brain of the cell. But in 1985 I discovered that the membrane is actually the brain of the cell. The nucleus, as it turns out, is actually the reproductive center.

The cell membrane (mem-brain!) monitors the condition of the environment and then sends signals to the genes to engage cellular mechanisms, which in turn, provide for its survival. In the human body, the brain sends messages to the cell’s membrane to control its behavior and genetic activity. This is how the mind, via the brain, controls our biology.

For example, an important discipline in the health sciences is referred to as psychoneuroimmunology. Literally this term means: the mind (psycho-) controls the brain (neuro-) which in turn, controls the immune system (immunology). This is how the placebo effect works!

When the mind perceives that the environment is safe and supportive, the cells focus on growth. Cells need growth in order to maintain the body’s healthy functioning.
However, when confronted by stress, cells adopt a defensive protection posture. When that happens, the body’s energy resources, normally used to sustain growth, are diverted to systems that provide protection. The result is that growth processes are restricted or suspended in a stressed system.

While our systems can accommodate periods of acute (brief) stress, prolonged or chronic stress is debilitating because the body’s energy demands interfere with the maintenance it requires, and this is what leads to dysfunction and disease.
For example, the fear that has been propagated in the United States since 9-11 has had a profoundly destructive effect upon the health of our citizens. Every time the government advertises concerns of more terror attacks, the fear alone causes stress hormones to shut down our biology and engage in a protection response.

Since the World Trade Center attack, the health of the country has plummeted and the pharmaceutical companies’ profits have skyrocketed (with a 100% increase in less than five years!)

Our color-coded terror alert system has also been responsible for another serious consequence. In a state of fear, stress hormones change the flow of blood in the brain. Under normal, healthy situations, blood flow in the brain is preferentially focused in the forebrain, the site of conscious control. However, in stress, the forebrain blood vessels constrict, forcing the blood to the hindbrain, the center of subconscious reflex control. Simply, in fear mode we become more reactive and less intelligent.

MAB: In your workshop, you talked about how we receive stress information. Would you elaborate on that?

BL: Sure. The principle source of stress signals is the system’s central voice, the mind. The mind is like the driver of a vehicle.

If we employ good driving skills in managing our behaviors and dealing with our emotions, then we should anticipate a long, happy and productive life. In contrast, ineffective behaviors and dysfunctional emotional management, like a bad driver, stress the cellular vehicle, interfering with its performance and provoking a breakdown.

Stress information can come to the cell from the two separate minds that create the body’s controlling central voice.

The (self-) conscious mind is the thinking you; it is the creative mind that expresses free will. It’s the equivalent of a 40-bit processor in that it can handle the input from about 40 nerves per second.

In contrast, the subconscious mind is a super computer loaded with a database of pre-programmed behaviors. It is a powerful 40-million-bit processor, interpreting and responding to over 40 million nerve impulses every second. Some programs are derived from genetics: these are our instincts. However, the vast majority of the subconscious programs are acquired through our developmental learning experiences.
The subconscious mind is not a seat of reasoning or creative consciousness, it is strictly a stimulus-response "play-back" device. When an environmental signal is perceived, the subconscious mind reflexively activates a previously-stored behavioral response — no thinking required!

The insidious part of the autopilot mechanism is that subconscious behaviors are programmed to engage without the control of, or the observation by, the conscious self. Neuroscientists have revealed that 95%-99% of our behavior is under the control of the subconscious mind. Consequently, we rarely observe these behaviors or much less know that they are even engaged.

While your conscious mind perceives that you are a good driver, it is the unconscious mind that has its hands on the wheel most of the time. And the unconscious mind may be driving you down the road to ruin.

We have been led to believe that by using willpower, we can override the negative programs of our subconscious mind. Unfortunately, to do that, one must keep a constant vigil on one’s own behavior.

There is no observing entity in the subconscious mind reviewing the behavioral tapes. The subconscious is strictly a record-playback machine. Consequently, there is no discernment as to whether a subconscious behavioral program is good or bad, it is just a tape. The moment you lapse in consciousness, the subconscious mind will automatically engage and play its previously-recorded, experience-based programs.
MAB: How did we get our subconscious programming in the first place?

BL: The prenatal and neonatal brain operates predominantly in delta and theta EEG frequencies through the first six years of our lives. This low level of brain activity is referred to as the hypnagogic state.

While in this hypnotic trance, a child does not have to be actively coached into specific behaviors. She obtains her behavioral programming simply by observing parents, siblings, peers and teachers.

In addition, a child’s subconscious mind also downloads beliefs relating to self. When a parent or teacher tells a young child he is sickly, stupid, bad or undeserving, this too is downloaded as a fact into the youngster’s subconscious mind. These acquired beliefs constitute the central voice that controls the fate of the body’s cellular community.

MAB: That’s pretty sobering! It seems to me that our subconscious mind is like a chunk of green kryptonite from Superman’s home planet, the one thing that could strip him of his superpowers. The kryptonite is analogous to the rocky foundations of childhood. As you indicated earlier, the subconscious isn’t evil by nature — and neither is the kryptonite. Yet it’s through these avenues that the programming of our childhood come back to plague us as adults, and — from what you are saying — rob us of our own superpowers! Many people feel so stuck, ineffective and victimized, in spite of the fact that their conscious intentions are focused upon success. So we come to the ultimate question, how can the subconscious mind be reprogrammed?
BL: To change a behavioral tape, you have to push the record button and then re-record the program incorporating the desired changes. There are several ways to do this with the subconscious mind.

First, we can become more self-conscious, and rely less on automated subconscious programs. By being fully conscious, we become the masters of our fates rather than the victims of our programs. This path is similar to Buddhist mindfulness.
Secondly, clinical hypnotherapy directly addresses the issue at the hypnagogic state.
In addition, we can use a variety of new energy psychology modalities that enable a rapid and profound reprogramming of limiting subconscious beliefs. These are forms of Superlearning that open and integrate both hemispheres of the brain at the same time, allowing us to re-write our subconscious programs. Using these processes that are mechanistically similar to pushing the record program on the subconscious mind’s tape player, we are able to release the limiting perceptions, beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors.

Energy psychology modalities include Psych-K, Holographic Repatterning, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and BodyTalk.

MAB: As a labyrinth builder, I find many people report physical sensations of profound well-being and peace as a result of walking a labyrinth, as well as sense of timelessness, such as in an altered or hypnagogic state. Many spontaneous healings seem to be a direct result of labyrinth walking, and I myself have experienced healings and a sense of extraordinary wellness. Do you see this modality as a way to reprogram the subconscious as well?

BL: I believe any process that expands self-consciousness and allows us to observe and interact with our subconscious minds will open the gateway for change. With conscious awareness, we can actively transform our lives so they are filled with love, health and prosperity. The use of these new "rewrite" modalities provides a way to communicate with the cells of your body and is the link to transformative biology as well as psychology.

The Process of Healing

When we speak about healing, we speak about the process of attunement just as an orchestra tunes every musical instrument with the keynote. Our physical-etheric, emotional, and mental bodies are like musical instruments. The whole individuality is an orchestra.

The healing process is the process of tuning each instrument to the fixed note. Often in our musical rehearsals we have the "tuning fork" which gives the standard pitch on which all instruments are tuned. But what is the standard pitch -- the standard frequency -- in man on which all his bodies must be tuned?

Medicine, psychology, and psychiatry do not give us any information about this pitch. The only source we have is in the Ageless Wisdom.

According to the Ageless Wisdom, there exists the standard pitch in the Core of man and it is called by various names:

The radiation of the Divine Spark in man
The creative AUM
The note of the Soul, the note of the Self
The note that resounds with the Cosmic Magnet
The note that opens the gates for Higher Realms
The note that makes all things new
The note that regenerates or harmonizes, uplifts, transforms, and even shatters the form side of life when the form is no longer cooperating with it.

Every human being in his Core has that keynote on which he is supposed to tune all his mental, emotional, etheric, and physical systems. Every step in tuning our systems to that keynote is the healing process. That inner sound stands for our highest visions - the "hope of glory," the archetype of perfection. This inner note, or the key sound, not only tunes our atoms, cells, organs, and system, but it also tunes us to the keynote of the Universe which, as a Cosmic Sound, tries to harmonize and attune all parts of Creation.

For some people, the Inner Sound, the Core Sound, is the Voice of God. If any one hears this sound, he enters into an intense process of transfiguration. For others, it is the Will of God to which every thought, emotion, action, and motive must be tuned. For still others it is the supreme vision of beauty, harmony, joy, and bliss which must penetrate into all the vehicles and expressions of man. Still for others it is the source of Creativity, the currents of which bring transmutation and transfiguration in man. Still for others it is the Inner Architect, the Inner Conductor who builds the new Temple of Spirit out of the world of matter and orchestrates its relationship with the Universe.

The Ageless Wisdom says that before conception takes place, the human soul releases his creative note upon which his vehicles form themselves. And when the time of departure comes, the human stops sounding the note and the disintegration of the bodies takes place.

The Ageless Wisdom says that 'the ONE began to sound His note and the manifestation of the Universe began." Soon we will find that all manifestations is a condensed sound. It is on the keynote of creation that all forms of life are striving in order to reach perfection -- latent in every human being.

For some people this inner keynote is the highest standard of spirituality and morality -- without which there can be neither health nor happiness. The healing process is not only related to the physical and etheric bodies but also to the emotional and mental bodies. Many people are apparently healthy in their physical body but are really sick in their emotions and thinking.

You can heal the physical body for a while, but if you forget to heal the rest of the man, the physical body does not stay healthy. The health of a human being is the sum total of the degrees of attunement that his vehicles reach. This is why more and more we are entering in an era of holistic healing.

People have thought that man is a chemical compound, while others thought that man is a pool of emotions or nothing else but a machine producing thoughts. These may be true, but a human being is also a spirit, a beauty, a condensed bliss, a source of Cosmic Creativity -- he is the microcosm within the macrocosm.

The healing process also includes the process of elimination of those elements from the physical, etheric, astral, and mental nature which create discord and cannot attune with the principles that are not of our Core.

Many habits, vices, dark urges and drives coming from our past, our negative emotions; thoughts based on self-interest, exploitation, and greed -- these are elements that prevent the expansion of consciousness; elements that cause separation and discord. All these elements are seeds of disease in our various vehicles for which we pay a very high price.

The keynote, the nature of our essential pitch, the pure sound of our being is ever expanding, liberating, and inclusive. To discover this note and to create harmonious cords within all our systems is the process of advanced healing of the future.

The healing process through which a person must go was defined by one of the greatest thinkers, the Christ, Who said, "Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect."

The process of perfection, the striving toward perfection, is the process of attunement with your Conscience, with the heartnote of the entire humanity, with the standard note of the planet, with the keynote of the solar system, and with the AUM of the Universe.

The AUM is the symbol of energy which sustains life in manifestation. All diseases are the result of dissonance. Healing is a process carried out by every life form trying to attune its vehicles of expression to its essential purpose of life.

8 Points to Remember - "M ON KEY"

As consciousness shifts, there are certain requirements for those who choose to shift as well. Those requirements are of Universal Law, and cannot be denied. These necessities can be done only from the heart, for if from a mental nature will fail as untruth combative with perceived truth. As considered, these are also keys to the ascension process. They are not that which is new, but that which has always been. Only the perceptions of lack, of less than are new.

These keys are based upon the sacred geometry of the star tetrahedron, each key being a point of the star. Eight truths which are eternal. Each without the other is only part of the whole, just as you are part of all that is and has ever been.

The Keys are as follows:

Acknowledgement of self perfection – You are and always have been of the One both in Source and within your Journeys.

Acceptance of the journey for which you have come – why fight the very things which you have come to learn?

Personal integrity – That truth which is yours amongst all other things, that opportunity which you give yourselves to find the truth within you, not that which you have been conditioned by others to perceive.

Be that which you are, not that which you perceive others would see you – You are created of light, of Grace, and of that there cannot be imperfection, only that which is of Spirit. You do not need to improve yourselves, only to acknowledge that which is your God self, your perfect being.

Acknowledge your value – This is different than accepting perfection. Your value is how you fit within the world within and the world within which you exist. To perceive that your value is greater than another’s, or less than someone else’s brings you to lack of everything else.

Accept Your Power – You are great and mighty. True Power comes not of ego, but the collective One of your Spirit. True Power is Gentle Power. You are of the light and in its seemingly nebulous construct is the essence from which all things are made. To fear inner power is to suggest that you are less than all other things. In Truth, power is of Grace, not of abusiveness or negative use. True Power is that which is Love, the intentional living as co-creator from within all opportunities that are offered you.

Take your value, your perfection, your power, your Grace into your world – In the Now that always is, change only comes from practice of change. What this means is that to effect change you must embody it. Walk your talk, do not hide that which you know. Historically, that which is hidden is viewed as heresy in relation to the accepted norm. To change this, it is to create a new accepted norm with ease and Grace by virtue of walking within the very light from which you are created.

Love yourself and touch everyone you encounter with love – As all energy exchanges, what will you accept from others and what will you leave behind? See all others as mirrors of yourselves, that their pain resides somewhere within you, that their joy is your heart as well. This is why random acts of kindness make such a difference. Remember that you often say “There by the Grace of God go I”? It is so. It has always been so.

And of course, remember to breathe. Your breath serves more than the purpose of oxygenating your body. Your breath clears and nurtures you energetically. Each breath is a cleansing and as you are cleansed, your energy system moves more easily and with greater clarity of communication within the universal consciousness, communication what is your experience as well as what your experience may be. When you do not breathe because you are tense, your energies compact, becoming more and more sluggish. As a result, your manifestation becomes sluggish or even stalled.

Power Back On

The other day I mentioned to Santa Baby that I needed a break from blogging. Well, I forgot to say that a warm vacation in the tropics would be a nice way to relax. Instead, the Pacific Northwest was greeted with 90 mile an hour winds, and a million people left without power in frigid temperatures. Many still tonight are without heat. Our power came back on at 2:00 A.M. after being off for three days. Oh - how we do take for granted those comforts like hot baths, refrigerators, stoves and heat.

For a couple years now, many newsletters have advised on having our home prepared with survival goods. This was an excellent mini run that just showed how many are unprepared when Mother Earth has a major cleansing taking place. Around us, there were no markets open or gas to be found. Trees were down everywhere and hanging on power lines. We invested in a generator a couple of years ago, and I have to say, it was well worth it. The house was able to stay warm, a couple of lights were hooked up, and between the furnace on and off, we were able to keep the refrigerator cool. Tonight we have house guests who are still without power.

While listening to the radio the other night, it warmed my heart to hear people call in and offer their homes, firewood, and transportation to those in need. We have been slammed out here in the West the past few months. November brought record rainfall and severe flooding. We had barely recovered from that storm, when the Artic Freeze came in and we just thawed out from that storm, when this last one hit.
The most amazing thing to me is that I slept through this last storm. I can usually hear a pin drop at night and spend many nights awake - how I slept through this is a miracle in and of itself.

Santa really gave me a break. I think my consciousness left for the Milky Way that night and stayed in that galaxy while all the commotion was going on back here.

Cycles Gladiator

I never know who is going to deliver the next clue, yet last night a bottle of Pinot Noir wine with this label arrived in my kitchen; another family member decided to buy it at the last minute. I didn't really look at it until much later, and smiled as this most certainly resonated so much with my soul. Perhaps this is what baring it all or stripping down, leaving baggage behind means. Yesterday was quite a day........!

This seems to be where we are all at presently, trying to hang on to the wheels of balance, yet all the while flying like hell. This is the theme - Balance through Cycling! Nice to see wings even on the pedals.....makes our path a little more tolerable to know we often are getting pushed, or have help peddling when we get tired.

Remember the angelic self; the true self or core is gentle, kind and compassionate. At this time of year, we may tend to forget our core truth of being as chaos abounds. Words to the wise.......Simplify, simplify, simplify. Let go of the old patterns that no longer resonate and keep you in disharmony. Develop new traditions or ways of doing and moving,that will bring less stress into your life, and allow for more time to enjoy or be IN JOY. Don't be afraid to say NO when asked to do things that in your heart you do not feel called to. Being kind can also include the word NO, when honestly stated. Be true to yourself always. This is your journey - no one can do it for you.

Life is about cycles,birth, death, rebirth,and a new cycle for many seems to be coming in. I did take a sip of this wine just to see what I thought of it. Not bad, a little of a bite, but overall pleasant. This new cycle with the help from the vine (grapes -symbol of the harvest; of a redeeming sacrament) makes the bicycle balancing all the worthwhile.

I have been in a writing frenzy for a few days as these solar flares keep beaming down. I'm going to do my last post tonight and this may be my last one for at least the next 12 hours, unless I'm called back to the hot seat for more keyboard clues to decipher. That fat man in the red suit is a task Master! Here's a a few tid bits and places to venture into, in case you have a serious "Curious George" moment.

It's going to be another windy day tomorrow in the Pacific Northwest - lots of cleansing for everyone.

"POWER TO THE PEOPLE'

God morning to everyone. The sunrise is up and the light reflects the truth of what is in our heart and mind. Today is December 13th, and also the birthday of a very dear friend (Laura Young), whom I have become acquainted with through "E-mail" or Energy Mass through communication of her written material and exceptional blog abilities. I feel like I've known this woman for eons, as our spirits play together on many days over the communication highway or inner net. It is not a surprise that she would be born on a 12 month and a 13th day - this is how we remember the "ONE," by taking our journey through the 12 dimensions of self or 12 houses of the Zodiac that integrates the body, mind and spirit or the Trinity as known by some, on our way back to the ONE -our true home. Our birthdays often give us clues as to our souls purpose. She sure is a smart lady for choosing that month and day!

Yesterday I was wondering what my blog would be about today, yet I knew I wanted to start out with a great big "Birthday Wish" for this ONE "Courageous" woman, who inspires many to take up their "C" and empower their own lives. Happy Birthday Laura, and may those lights on your wish never go out and burn brightly for all eternity.

I also wondered yesterday what material would come before me to inspire the words to be set forth for today, and yet this place within me knew all would arrive in Divine Timing.

This morning I awoke from my slumber when the power went off (metaphor - power goes out - people usually awake)! :-) The Northwest is again experiencing wind, rain and Mother Nature's Cleansing ritual. Luckily the power outage lasted only minutes, so today's routine or show could go on as usual. I normally at this time turn on the computer to warm it up, grab a warm drink and sit down to check my messages. Still thinking of Laura and wondering what I would write about, it took only seconds before an "IM" appeared from a Master Lion, with me to look at a web site with the headlines, "The Energy Machine of Joseph Newman." Laughing like a Monkey, with the thought it would come from a Lion (Courage) - I new it's back to a trip to OZ for me today. (Please take a look at Joseph's site, the information is fascinating and we ask for his protection, as history has shown what happens to those who come forth with new information that will herald in a new way of thinking for the uplifting of mankind.)

The picture of the CD taken from Joseph Newman's site with the words, "God, Mind, Truth" with the beautiful sun shining brightly, totally captivated me and I knew the blog would begin. As I quickly scanned the site, words started jumping out all over and my mind could hardly take it all in.

With the outer technology on line, it means the inner technology is also on it's way to collectively humming in the monkey-gods, and our hearts are beginning to beat as one, perhaps just not on a conscious level for most yet.

The Cosmic Force of 12 - it's a 12-12 day! "When man understands the cosmic force of 12, graduation will be upon us again!"

This morning, even before I entered into the Roman Bath House (my bathroom), had not even left my bed and with eyes still closed, I was reminded that it is a 12-12 day, also a celebration day of "Our Lady of Guadelupe," and with that the "SONG" came into my mind for the clue of the day...............

The line, "Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time," stood out as we have come to "Experience" 3rd Dimension or TIME, and it's all about learning how to play in the game. I recently read a wonderful, inspiring book entitled, "Don't Blame the Game," by Michael Schwass who has spent 31 years as a quadrilplegic, one who has demonstrated great "COURAGE" through years of his recovery, and has moved to a place in his beingness of body, mind & spirit that has shown mastery over time (illusion), while still encased in human form; perhaps this what, "I AM IN THIS WORLD, BUT NOT OF IT," represents.

Learning how to walk with or without the use of our legs between two worlds, being fully present in all our multi-dimensional bodies of self takes quite a bit of practice, but can be done. As the picture above of the Angel napping reminds me, that it is okay to catch those inbreath moments and allow our bodies to have rest periods during what may seem as very intense and chaotic days that we find ourselves living in. Remembering to love self and to be gentle with oneself, makes it all the easier to love your neighbors.

It happened again. I had barely stepped into the tub this morning, turned the water nozzle on for the shower spray, lathered up when the tune started to play in my head, and once again I find myself deep in song singing, "What Now My Love," leaving me with the feeling of an intense urge to inspire during these peak holiday periods where sometimes hope gets lost. I had sent a picture to a friend last night, after she mentioned her two kitties reminded her of yin/yang. I then thought of "George" again, and the picture I had seen the night before. She wrote back and said this morning that, "YIN/YANG George," was surely a piece of the puzzle and part of the blog.

After reading her note, I reflected on this monkey with the yin/yang symbol, and the article, "The Gig Is a Real Grind," about Bush the Organ Grinder with George as his monkey from a previous post,"The Man of My Dreams," and that thought then led to the "White House." With a mischievous smile, I wondered if this was a picture for a Christmas White House Greeting Card. (Do I Dare?) :-)

With that last thought and another Mea Culpa heading in, I then wandered into my cleansing room or perhaps Roman Bath House, that lately is becoming a portal of sorts, and belted out what is to be considered a POPULAR song. (Got to POP that BUBBLE)!

Whew..........looks like we better get down to some serious Monkey Business here and do some damage control. After stepping out of the shower, and gazing into the mirror, I'm thinking to myself, what's next?

With a quick Sherlock move, I beam in on to the colors. The blue and the green represent the throat, third eye and heart chakra rays. There are circles all over the tube and inside one of them in WHITE letters are the words NOXZEMA. Ahhhh to move back into the WHITE of truth and purity and remembrance of the circle of life, one needs to incorporate, balance and open the 4th, 5th and 6th dimensions of self with integration into the physical to become the "WHITE HOUSE LIGHT." Next we look to the word and take apart the letters, "NO X Z E M A" and we see, "NO X(box-duality thinking) Z (zero point) E(energy) M(Master) A(Angel).

So this tells me that to live in our own White House, we need to leave the box behind or move out of time (there goes the hour glass figure), and balance to the point of Zero Energy for full remembrance for all of us Master Angels.

I smile as I look at this tube of Noxzema for it also has words written on it saying, "Long Last Deep Clean," "Continuous Clean," "With Vitamin C," "6 Fl. OZ". I'm beginning to sound like a Noxzema commercial here, but I would enCOURAGE all of you to look to this FACE CLEANSER for a number 6 (guidance, six pointed star symbolizing perfect balance of man, three chakras above and three below heart center) that contains a vitamin "C" (Courage) for your "FACE TO FACE" meeting and return to OZ or Circle of Wholeness at Zero!

After my quick wash I went to put on some moisturizer. I then took a bottle out of the cabinet and remembered that this was empty, but for some reason when I pushed the top down, some white liquid came out for me to use. I thought that was funny, since it had been empty. I remembered keeping the bottle because I liked the design and it felt so good. Then I looked at the bottle and the name on it was, "SEACRET" from the Dead Sea. It contained 1 (ONE) OZ. and is a FACE SERUM. I guess the key or secret back to ONENESS, and finding some of our answers to history's long debated questions, may be contained in the healing properties of the Water from the DEAD SEA located in Israel - or finding the IS through the RA(EYE) of EL(GOD) reflection in the mirror - and what to my wandering EYE should appear, but a picture of SELF as a Cosmos reindeer. Hopefully we can all be a friend to those in need. Remember the 100th Monkey Effect - and we'll all be in the White House!

EARTHCODE -THE CLUE TO OUR SURVIVAL

Today's investigator has been given a reprieve and the clue to the next CODE was waiting for me to read. I saw this morning a report written by Reuters that stated that 5,000 Gorilla's have died from the Ebola virus in Africa. They may even become extinct due to this virus plus man's hunting of them. Africa is where humanities roots lay. The clue today for us is to pay attention to and reflect on whether our own virus', plus hunting of each other through many acts of violence and abuse, may eventually lead to our own extinction.

The earthcode is telling us that if we wish for our species to continue, we MUST use some HEARTMATH here.

The code? Re-arrange the letters of Earth - it spells Heart. Earth is the physical dimension where we learn to master the art of heart-centeredness - HeartMind - through kindness, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, courage, peacefulness, and global unity . . . in spite of the difficulties and challenges of living here.

Indeed, each of us have had our share of struggles in various forms and situations throughout our lives.

The good news is, life doesn't have to be so difficult! Life can and does become easier and far more enjoyable than any of us ever thought possible. The Man of My Dreams :-)

What a way to end the day than with this ONE EYE PEANUT. This morning started out fairly normal until I entered the shower again. They say water has consciousness,(The World of Water) and boy do I believe that! I had barely started scrubbing when suddenly I find myself doing the jive, hands and hips swinging and I'm belting out, "Oh When the Saints Go Marching In"... over and over and over. Oh know ...here we go again and I thought I was done with that one. It's like I was transported to Mars or something. I totally forgot where I was and what I was doing momentarily. It was like a one eye peanut energy totally confiscated my mind and body.

In my mind's eye, I saw myself as an organ grinder with a monkey on my shoulder. NOT AGAIN , another Monkey or M-on-key day. For my friends who really know me well, these lines wouldn't even phase them. It's the one's who don't, that may be raising their eyebrows a little and thinking perhaps I may need some serious help. I thought of yesterday's post and alluding to a connection between Mary the Feminine Icon and Curious George the Monkey. Yes, I admit there was a little hesitancy on my part to even put those two pictures together on the same page, let alone side by side. One part of me remembered the word, "Blasphemy," another part wanted to start the Mea Culpa mantra, and then there was plenty of arguing going on within both hemispheres, all the while I'm praying for the veil to be lifted so the show could go on. Yet deep inside me through it all, I KNEW there was a connection and had to trust the ending. Hey.....if Saint and Ant can go together, I figured a Divine Goddess wouldn't mind being linked to a Curious peanut eating Monkey.

I had lots of chores to do today and so couldn't sit and reflect much on this image of the organ grinder and monkey much, although the thought never seemed to really dissipate. The word "Organ" seemed important, and I flashed back to early teenage years when I had a gig playing the church organ on Sundays. I never took lessons, but that sure didn't stop me from playing. Once I turned that switch on and heard those pipe bellows go whoosh, I was hooked. I figured I could improvise a little, and since the congregation had no other volunteers for this job, had been without music for many months, and my services were free, that they might take it easy on me. As long as I didn't have to read music with left hand notes, I could get by. Thank goodness guitar music was in fashion at that time and newly introduced into the services. Using written left hand chord letters and right hand notes, anything is possible.

I was reminded today while driving and Barbara Streisand was singing to me from the car CD, of one of my very favorite songs. It was one that I would play nearly every Sunday and the congregation would sing to entitled, "ONE GOD." Well, I figured since it was in a guitar book, and the guitar book was in church, this song was safe. It always resonated with me even as a young child. There seems to be a wisdom in the saying that to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, one has to become child-like. It must be like cleaning up and deleting all the old programs on our computers that are filled with virus', totally wiping out all old software off the hard-drive, sometimes crashing intermittingly when the power fails from corruption to our systems, that are engaged in the myths that have been passed down over eons of time being caught in the web, and it requires of us a new downloading of heart software and return to the innocence and purity where we KNOW all is connected in the circle of LIFE.

Tonight as I sat here at the computer I wondered where the Organ Grinder was going to take me. I popped the words into google for a search and found some interesting tidbits. This site headlines, "The Gig Is a Real Grind" is about an Organ Grinder by the name of Bush and his Monkey called George. (I figured that might get your attention!) It is really a cute article, but it was the song that was mentioned in this article, "The Sidewalk of New York," that held meaning for me. It seems that when I see this image of a Peanut Man wearing a Top Hat, it usually has a connection with some people and one is from New York. I checked out the lyrics and laughed when I saw these words,

"East Side, West Side, all around the town
The kids sang "ring around rosie", "London Bridge is falling down"
Boys and girls together, me and Mamie O'Rourke
We tripped the light fantastic on the sidewalks of New York

The "ring around rosie" or love, beauty and innocence, and "trippin the light fantastic" reminded me that I used that same phrase last year for my nephew's report that I did on, "The Wizard of Oz." One may ask how to trip the light ....... by moving through the rainbow of light chakras and balancing oneself again. (Dr. Carolyn Myss has written extensively on this information.) When I see a top hat, it symbolizes for me that one has balanced these energy centers and dimensions of self, and is now consciously connected and working within these higher states of the wizard with the ability to tap his/her magic wand. Reminds me of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The stone can only be commanded when one is pure of heart. This is how miracles occur....but actually it is a natural state of being, only forgotten by the many.

The next site was from Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired with photographer Peter Eckert on his Monacle Man. His written words reflect the single eye vision as he writes, “Losing my eyesight has not diminished how I ‘see’ in my mind's eye. I have worked hard to sharpen my other senses to learn what objects sound like. The sound/object relationship has enabled me to take pictures. Metaphorically, I am slipping my photos under the door from the world of the blind to be viewed in the world of the sighted. My intention is not to portray the world of the sighted, but to show how I interpret the world in my mind's eye. ”

After leaving there, I then find myself at the Hurdy Gurdy Man Antiques and read about Dean (owner) and his caption title, "Who thought they would be an organ grinder when they grew up?"

(Dean did, and he has lived with that idea since seeing an organ grinder perform with his monkey in Bombay, India back in 1968 when he was 12 years old. The experience was such a joy, he never forgot it. Around that time, Donovon, along with the Beatles, had been in India and Donovan wrote the song "Hurdy Gurdy Man." Dean loved the song but it wasn't until years later that he really paid attention to the words, only to discover that they perfectly described his experience of hearing the organ grinder while peering out over the ocean.)

Donovon

I sat looking at the picture of Dean with his organ grinder and monkey all the while captivated by Donovon's song, when suddenly there he was standing in Dean's photo next to him, the man of my dreams, the man that shows up during my sessions and I always refer to as the Peanut Man or the M&M guy! Guess this character has been with me for a long time helping with my act and organ grinding music making. This monacle man who sees with his Single Eye, being connected to all that is.........I KNOW....it's in his TOP HAT!

Thank you Z, energy known by many names, (Zoraster - Z - return to Zero Point - when matter and antimatter merge and the cycles of time cease to exist, when all return to balance and consciousness spirals back), I might have known you were playing with me! Now, when does my cup runneth over? :-) (He pays me with manna from heaven.........how do you like that for currency exchange? Not even listed on the NYSE! Oh.........it's on the Sidewalks of New York......I get it!)

"Thus Spoke Zarathrusta" and with the flip of the baton, the "Maestro" starts the music! Let the show begin.

And so another mystery is solved and now Sherlock is a little brain tired. This organ grinder is going to bed!

Monkey Business or M on key

For the past few weeks, the theme of "Curious George" has been coming in to my awareness. Suddenly, it seemed that this monkey was constantly showing itself to me. In fact, even during a session with a client lately, I was shown a Monkey and the name Curious George came to mind, while I watched it sitting up in a tree over looking my client.

The other day my daughter sent me this site, with the heading: Subject: your driver's license on the internet. Taking the bait, I popped into it just to see what she was playing with. Lo and behold, what showed up was definitely another clue to this monkey puzzle. (You will have to try it for yourself) :-)

Definitely, the picture clearly stated what path we are on, and yet I felt it was scripted this way and all in Divine Timing. One often hears that "Chaos" leads to change, and LIFE IS CHANGE. Often the molecules of the atoms have to be rearranged for a new design to be created so a better foundation can be implemented. So, after witnessing the Monkey Drivers License on the internet site, it seems this is how we are to motor through life. I did happen to notice the expiration date on it, and perhaps that was another message when the chaos will begin to wane, before I renew it. I consider chaos theory to be the expansion mode or out breath, and then we must contract, integrate and solidify all the rearranged molecules into a new pattern. This IS Creation........expansion......contraction..... or out breath....in breath and perhaps even, "The Word of God."

Then this morning I stumbled onto another article while surfing the Drudge Report and read this article title, "Court Reprimands New Delhi Over Growing Monkey Menace."

(Excerpt - Earlier this year the country's Supreme Court ordered wildlife authorities to transport some 300 macaques from New Delhi to the dense jungles of Madhya Pradesh state. The government of that state was to receive $54,000 from the federal government to cover the cost of reintroducing the monkeys to the wild. Other efforts by animal welfare agencies have been defeated, in part, by Hindus who believe that monkeys are manifestations of the monkey god Hanuman. The animals are often fed bananas and peanuts, which encourages them to frequent public places.)

(Clue - Hanuman - remove "an" - it now becomes the word Human. I just looked up the word Hanuman and it said, "This deity is a provider of courage, hope, knowledge, intellect and devotion.)

From this site, my fingers plucked another few keys and I next ventured into another site by Ellie Crystal, and checked out Ellie's World, "Our Lady of Guadelupe Day." I remembered today the Catholic tradition celebrates December 8th as the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. (It seems to me that this Feminine Icon is now linked with Monkey business.)

A few interesting points were in the article published at Crystalinks on our Lady of Guadalupe and the December 12 connection or 12/12.

What caught my attention was the caption above one of her pictures:

After seeing the "bursting the bubble" to fly free, it took me back to an earlier post I had written containing the bubble burst affect.

Shortly after all these morning clues, I was busy doing some 3D chores when suddenly I saw the word, "Monkey Business" again in my mind, yet this is what came in....M on key Business. So, this tells me that we are on key or as it should be, yet I was trying to figure out the "M". Oh dah silly, but of course, it is the Feminine Icon "Mary" who is making her essence known (return of the feminine energy) and reminds us to look at the underside of our palms (turn over your hand) you may just see a big "M" in the middle of your palm for you are all Masters with a great big M!

Have a wonderful "M..on..key Day," and may you all conceive your information in a most Immaculate way. For as part of "The Secret" states, "YOU BECOME AND ATTRACT WHAT YOU THINK." As we head to 12/12/2012.........chaos will abound, but it does not have to put you into fear. Choose to think of love, peace, prosperity, excellent health, balance, and the words that contain a higher vibration, for then you will attract to you the same.

While I'm thinking of it, (this thought is very loud :-)) I'm encouraged to share with you this beautiful song by Carrie Hart. You can download it for free if you wish, for it clearly is another clue for us in our Remembering.

Here I Am (Ave Maria)

Carrie states: I asked that I might create a tool for you, so that you would be filled with spirit quickly and easily, simply by listening. What came to me was an invocation to spirit, set it to Schubert's transcendent Ave Maria melody.

The word "Courage" has come through several times in this article, once refering to the word Hanuman, and then again in the song, "Here I AM," by Carrie Hart, and that reminds me of my previous post, "Brave....Who Me?" The courage theme continues on for all of us. We all have different venues that we may play with, many beliefs set in place, yet ultimately it will require our own "Inner Balance" or yin/yang to become friends within, for the ideal conditions to take hold for us to SEE with new eyes, and HEAR with new ears.

May 2007 enCOURAGE us to really look at our beliefs and whether they keep us moving forward, or whether they make us feel stuck inside the box or remain in the bubble.

Courage - C our age or SEE OUR NEW AGE!

Remembering another "C" related post just now, it looks like a similar theme in these messages keeps on saying, "Sing in the KEY or Ki of "C"." Now I wonder if the "Birthing of the Godiski" and the "Immaculate Conception" concept are related. That clue is for another time...to be continued, as this Curious George has some monkeying around to do.

(P.S. I just finished posting this when a cell call came in from a friend telling me he was down at the Spunky Monkey having lunch. Life is great! Come to think of it, he is a little spunky!)

Brave..... Who Me?

Mmmmmmm, I’m thinking of Laura Young (pictured) and her "Musings of an Ant Watcher" blog at this moment and her upcoming birthday on December 13th, when that song above started playing in my head. I suspect there is a message in the tune and the FBI of Spirit will need to investigate a little more. I can only wonder where the Saint/Ant similarity is leading to. At this point in my blogging, it's like opening a new book for me and reading it. I never know where the story line is going to go and always look forward to the end to see just where my consciousness has traveled. Today I'm hoping the Higher,Middle and Lower Self will be in good form and able to get along, it makes writing a little easier.

I often refer to my dream books for clues to some of the words that seem to stand out when tunes start playing in my mind or loud thoughts are trying to get my attention. This song stirred a very positive feeling, and so I look to that aspect of the word for the interpretation.

Ants - symbolize hard work, diligence and industry. Increase business activities are expected. According to the biblical interpretations, ants symbolize diligence concerning the things of God. Despite its small size, the ant lays up substance during times of plenty. (Prov 30:25)

Marching - To dream that you are marching to the beat of music, signifies teamwork.

I can’t remember exactly when I first heard of Laura, it seems it must have been about two years ago. It was a client of mine who had first mentioned her name to me. My client had been diagnosed earlier with cancer and Laura’s written words that she had read, inspired her to start writing. I was so touched when she told me that Laura had donated funds to help her take a bike trip on her Harley that summer. I knew this was one woman then that I wanted to check out! I’ve been following Laura’s blogs ever since.

What I witnessed before me almost daily for a number of months as I opened to her site, was a woman who was transforming before my very eyes. I often get to see this in my office sessions, but I have never seen it done through the internet. Day after day I was in total amazement of Laura’s courage to show up and so openly share and allow all of us to witness sides to her being with her mental/emotional angst (normal process for spiritual awakening). There were times when I would think to myself, “I’m not sure that I could do that in such a public way and most certainly did not have the courage of the Lion that my Leo sign was suppose to express.” I was always amazed and bedazzled with her ability to communicate so freely her vast array of feelings, and knew she was a great inspiration to the many readers, let alone clients, to fully allow themselves also the opportunity to share and remember their own wholeness that their soul called forth for them to acknowledge.

As I sit here thinking of Laura’s Carnival of Courage submissions for her blog and suggested title, “What is the bravest thing you have ever done,” I wondered what event or events in my life would be considered acts of courage. I can't remember ever asking myself that question before, so after reading Laura’s suggestion, I sat with this for a few days. I laughed as I thought that it took a little of the “C” word - courage - to give birth to a 10 pound baby all natural and he was my second one I did that way without even a Tylenol, or when I helped a friend "OM" on a meditational spiritual CD he produced and presented it to some of my Catholic family members, yet there is one episode that does come to mind that I experienced a number of years ago during employment at an elementary school that stands out. Although it did not feel like courage at the time, perhaps it was the event that made it very clear to me that I was not to deny my souls purpose and to fully embrace and become myself completely, and most certainly this takes courage for all of us to do. (From the perception I now hold, that to simply show up on planet earth and put on these flesh colored body suits that never really fit well, all the while exhibiting total forgetfulness and dancing in duality with polarity as the main attraction to experience for LIFE, certainly makes all of humanity BRAVE.)

My duties at the school entailed that of a secretary, although I spent half of my time in the health room assisting the health clerk. It was a room that I always felt comfortable in and the motherly instincts were put to good use on a daily basis. I had previously taken classes in Reiki energy healing, and it seemed to come in handy when the children needed their nerves soothed. In fact, as a mother energy healing is common place and used daily, although it is generally not associated as in this venue or terminology.

One day one of our special education children had a seizure on the playground and was brought in. He had fallen and taken a blow to his head. Although he did have his helmet on, there was bleeding from where the helmet made contact with his head. While the health clerk was busy cleaning his wound, I sat on the bed next to him and held his hand and with the other one, laid it over his heart. His pulse was extremely fast, and so I just connected with his spirit and assured him all was fine and to relax. I often heard friends talk about being in the “Zone,” and perhaps this is what I often experience. I remember just being in a state of peace and feeling his pulse slow and calmness return to him; all the while I had totally tuned out the noise in the room. With my eyes closed at some point, I gently did a hand pass over the boys head to check for heat. There was quite a bit of energy disturbance in his fields and so I smoothed it out. Suddenly, a woman’s shrill voice said, “What are you doing, I’m a Christian.” I can remember slowly coming back to present time and turning my head to see who belonged to the voice. It happened to be the boy’s mother. I was completely confused as to why she was even saying this. I vaguely remember saying something like, “I AM also.” I then removed myself from the room and went back to my desk. My heart was thumping loudly as fear then took hold. The thought that came through that totally surprised me was, “I wonder how they will kill me this time?”

I left work that day with some anger building in me. While driving in my car for the next 10 miles and screaming at my Angels for not being there when I needed them, I decided to stop at a café to find some friends and try to recover from this experience. (One can only guess what other drivers on the road witnessed when they saw me yelling and I was all alone in the car.) Upon arriving at the café and climbing the stairs, I watched a woman looking up at something above me as I took each step and wondered what in the world she was doing. I sat down at a table where some familiar faces were seated and then noticed that this same woman got up and approached my table. She came and stood next to me posing with her hands down next to her thighs, head and shoulders held up looking very erect as if mimicking someone and said, “You have a very tall Angel behind you that is saying, STAND UP TALL FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.” As the heat of the tears rolled down my cheeks, I felt so small in that moment for having had those thoughts where I felt abandoned – thank goodness it didn’t last long. That day was truly pivotal for me and launched me fully on the spiritual path to complete what I felt was my souls purpose. It was shortly after that my intuition told me my work was done there. I thank each and everyone who were present in that health room and cafe' for playing their parts so well, so that I could experience all of it.

That year also was my daughter’s high school senior project in which she was to study, experience and work with a mentor on a subject of her choice. She decided to do hers on alternative medicine and asked if I could be her mentor. Usually the parent is not allowed, but for some reason they gave me permission. We had a fun time as I exposed her to various modalities such as Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Bach Flower Essences, Essential Oils, Massage, Naturopathy and Reiki. After six weeks she had to go in front of the panel of judges and give a presentation. As the word "Synchronicity" comes to mind, one of three judges that she presented to turned out to be the Christian woman who had the outburst at me in the health room. Another was the teacher (who was also present in the health room at the time of the experience) of the special education child who was injured. What are the odds of this happening? Yup – I knew the Angels had their wings flapping in on this one and my daughter received an “A” on her project.

As I reflect back to Laura’s writings during her quantum leap in her personal healing process and sharing her experiences with us, I need to say, “Thank you Laura for allowing us to witness God in Action!” Your Courage ignites the "C" in so many.

Perhaps the Ant Watcher (God) is watching his/her diligent team who lays up substance during times of plenty – wanting to be in the number, “Prov 30:25”, (3+0+2+5) adds up to a “10” (new beginning with experience, a higher frequency of understanding), then 10 breaks down to a 1 (signifying new beginnings, oneness with God, unity of life).

So, I figure if you can’t be a Saint marching in, the next best thing would be as an Ant or Ant Watcher!

Oh my, a new story line develops just as I'm winding this one down. Seems to me that with a good bra as a solid foundation, a "C" (See with courage) of brave might fill our cups - and of course this leads to, "May your cup runneth over with Love - Ole' Ve."

As we wind down the year, I know many of you are considering your career directions and setting some resolutions to launch your own ventures in 2007. Allow me to give you some food for thought from the other side of that transition. Going from over a decade of salaried work in a licensed profession where I had a clear role and status to full-time self-employment in a profession that is a bit like the Wild West was not without it's challenges. If you are an entrepreneur or considering making the leap, here are a few tips I can offer you from my own insights and dope slaps along the way.

1. Admit it when you need help and then ask for it. Pay for it if you have to. Stubborn independence is not an asset when you are stuck.

2. Accept help and support without worrying that people will think you less of you if you aren't a 100% Self-Made Success. There is no such thing as a successful person who was not given help along the way.

3. Don't overplan. Once you start moving, new energy, new people and new opportunities always show up. You may even discover talents that were previously dormant. Leave some room for synchronicity.

4. Develop work habits that bring out your best. It may take a while to shed old habits and the remnants of burn out. Be patient and persistent with yourself and make sure you don't just substitute one stressful job for another. Experiment with what work flow is best for you.

5. You don't have to catch every ball thrown at you. If you are working from home, it does not mean your schedule is free and that you are on call to fill everyone else's needs. Know the difference between a business and a hobby.

6. Take a look around you once in a while. One's environment is a very strong, clear reflection of your overall life balance. Mix business and pleasure. Your work should support and energize you, not drain and consume you. Not sure if you are balanced? Look around you and take note of areas that are being neglected and make a plan to handle them.

7. Just because you are good at something doesn't mean you ever really enjoyed it. It's natural to gravitate toward our strongest skills, but they may just be overworked muscles. No one likes feeling incompetent, but if there are skills and talents you would like to explore, make it a priority to devote time to developing them.

8. Don't let small stuff serve as a distraction, you will fool no one. We are always making choices, and what we choose to tolerate are the most powerful choices we make in determining how high we will reach in life. Handle the little stuff and be a good gate keeper before clutter accumulates. You may feel like you are busy but is it with the right stuff? If you were on trial for running your business, would you be convicted?

9. You won't do it exactly like anyone else. Don't assume that all the experts know the secrets to your success. Study good models but listen to your gut.

10. Take care of yourself, you are your greatest asset. People are attracted by the person, not the message. You will succeed when you walk the talk because a powerful life is the greatest attractor.

The Effortless Juggler TGIF :-)

Starting off this Friday morning, I opened an email from Carrie Hart and enjoyed her article entitled, "The Effortless Juggler." Some weeks I have no problem handling all these balls, then whamo hits and it's not always easy to keep them floating without getting smacked a few times. The song, "Catch a Falling Star and Put it in Your Pocket" plays in my head now. Mmmm - got to get me some pants with more pockets! :-) Have a TGIF day and keep your balls rolling and flying!

Sometimes you have many balls in the air and you are nervous because you are unsure which things in your life will work out and which ones require attention. And the tension and anxiety in your life can come simply from that, anticipation of possible problems, worry that you will not be able to respond as you need to, fear that all of the balls will come tumbling down at once.

Today, rather than worrying about the various balls you have in the air, learn to have a lighter touch with your life. Focus on the one or two balls that actually require your attention this moment, then keep them all moving, toss them back up in to the mix, take a little breather between balls and then focus on the next one. And while they are in the air, hold them up with faith, with belief that you will be able to handle what comes your way in life, through a combination of your own capabilities and the help that is there for you, surrounding you, ever and always.

If you try to control all the balls that are in the air, then you may drop the one that is passing through your hand at the moment, and that is the only one that actually requires your attention. Success lies in what you do with the ball that you are touching now, how you launch it properly back up into the sky, then open to the next one that is coming down even now and give it your focus.

If you allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the possibility of not handling one of the balls, then your tension and lack of focus may get you out of harmony with the entire juggling act.

So think of yourself in this way. Picture how effortless being a juggler actually is. And every so often, you will be able to toss a ball completely out of the mix, having dispensed with it completely. And every so often a new one is tossed in. Just handle it all in good grace, with rhythm, relaxation, a very light and easy touch and absolute belief in yourself.

You are up to the task of living your life. Allow yourself to find an effortless harmony, in that ultimate state of relaxed awareness, conscious of everything, but in a highly relaxed manner. You will be amazed at how many balls you can keep in the air when you begin to adopt the juggler attitude.

Daylight Savings Time!

At 2 a.m. on October 30, groggy Americans will turn their clocks back one hour, marking the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST).

The federal law that established “daylight time” in this country does not require any area to observe daylight saving time. But if a state chooses to observe DST, it must follow the starting and ending dates set by the law. From 1986 to 2006 this has been the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, but starting in 2007, it will be observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, adding about a month to daylight saving time.
