Brave..... Who Me?

Oh, when the ants go marching in
Oh, when the ants go marching in
Oh, how I want to be in that number
When the ants go marching in

Oh, when the ants come marching in
Oh, when the ants come marching in
Oh yes, I want to be in that number
When the ants go marching in

Mmmmmmm, I’m thinking of Laura Young (pictured) and her "Musings of an Ant Watcher" blog at this moment and her upcoming birthday on December 13th, when that song above started playing in my head. I suspect there is a message in the tune and the FBI of Spirit will need to investigate a little more. I can only wonder where the Saint/Ant similarity is leading to. At this point in my blogging, it's like opening a new book for me and reading it. I never know where the story line is going to go and always look forward to the end to see just where my consciousness has traveled. Today I'm hoping the Higher,Middle and Lower Self will be in good form and able to get along, it makes writing a little easier.

I often refer to my dream books for clues to some of the words that seem to stand out when tunes start playing in my mind or loud thoughts are trying to get my attention. This song stirred a very positive feeling, and so I look to that aspect of the word for the interpretation.

Ants - symbolize hard work, diligence and industry. Increase business activities are expected. According to the biblical interpretations, ants symbolize diligence concerning the things of God. Despite its small size, the ant lays up substance during times of plenty. (Prov 30:25)

Marching - To dream that you are marching to the beat of music, signifies teamwork.

I can’t remember exactly when I first heard of Laura, it seems it must have been about two years ago. It was a client of mine who had first mentioned her name to me. My client had been diagnosed earlier with cancer and Laura’s written words that she had read, inspired her to start writing. I was so touched when she told me that Laura had donated funds to help her take a bike trip on her Harley that summer. I knew this was one woman then that I wanted to check out! I’ve been following Laura’s blogs ever since.

What I witnessed before me almost daily for a number of months as I opened to her site, was a woman who was transforming before my very eyes. I often get to see this in my office sessions, but I have never seen it done through the internet. Day after day I was in total amazement of Laura’s courage to show up and so openly share and allow all of us to witness sides to her being with her mental/emotional angst (normal process for spiritual awakening). There were times when I would think to myself, “I’m not sure that I could do that in such a public way and most certainly did not have the courage of the Lion that my Leo sign was suppose to express.” I was always amazed and bedazzled with her ability to communicate so freely her vast array of feelings, and knew she was a great inspiration to the many readers, let alone clients, to fully allow themselves also the opportunity to share and remember their own wholeness that their soul called forth for them to acknowledge.

As I sit here thinking of Laura’s Carnival of Courage submissions for her blog and suggested title, “What is the bravest thing you have ever done,” I wondered what event or events in my life would be considered acts of courage. I can't remember ever asking myself that question before, so after reading Laura’s suggestion, I sat with this for a few days. I laughed as I thought that it took a little of the “C” word - courage - to give birth to a 10 pound baby all natural and he was my second one I did that way without even a Tylenol, or when I helped a friend "OM" on a meditational spiritual CD he produced and presented it to some of my Catholic family members, yet there is one episode that does come to mind that I experienced a number of years ago during employment at an elementary school that stands out. Although it did not feel like courage at the time, perhaps it was the event that made it very clear to me that I was not to deny my souls purpose and to fully embrace and become myself completely, and most certainly this takes courage for all of us to do. (From the perception I now hold, that to simply show up on planet earth and put on these flesh colored body suits that never really fit well, all the while exhibiting total forgetfulness and dancing in duality with polarity as the main attraction to experience for LIFE, certainly makes all of humanity BRAVE.)

My duties at the school entailed that of a secretary, although I spent half of my time in the health room assisting the health clerk. It was a room that I always felt comfortable in and the motherly instincts were put to good use on a daily basis. I had previously taken classes in Reiki energy healing, and it seemed to come in handy when the children needed their nerves soothed. In fact, as a mother energy healing is common place and used daily, although it is generally not associated as in this venue or terminology.

One day one of our special education children had a seizure on the playground and was brought in. He had fallen and taken a blow to his head. Although he did have his helmet on, there was bleeding from where the helmet made contact with his head. While the health clerk was busy cleaning his wound, I sat on the bed next to him and held his hand and with the other one, laid it over his heart. His pulse was extremely fast, and so I just connected with his spirit and assured him all was fine and to relax. I often heard friends talk about being in the “Zone,” and perhaps this is what I often experience. I remember just being in a state of peace and feeling his pulse slow and calmness return to him; all the while I had totally tuned out the noise in the room. With my eyes closed at some point, I gently did a hand pass over the boys head to check for heat. There was quite a bit of energy disturbance in his fields and so I smoothed it out. Suddenly, a woman’s shrill voice said, “What are you doing, I’m a Christian.” I can remember slowly coming back to present time and turning my head to see who belonged to the voice. It happened to be the boy’s mother. I was completely confused as to why she was even saying this. I vaguely remember saying something like, “I AM also.” I then removed myself from the room and went back to my desk. My heart was thumping loudly as fear then took hold. The thought that came through that totally surprised me was, “I wonder how they will kill me this time?”

I left work that day with some anger building in me. While driving in my car for the next 10 miles and screaming at my Angels for not being there when I needed them, I decided to stop at a café to find some friends and try to recover from this experience. (One can only guess what other drivers on the road witnessed when they saw me yelling and I was all alone in the car.) Upon arriving at the café and climbing the stairs, I watched a woman looking up at something above me as I took each step and wondered what in the world she was doing. I sat down at a table where some familiar faces were seated and then noticed that this same woman got up and approached my table. She came and stood next to me posing with her hands down next to her thighs, head and shoulders held up looking very erect as if mimicking someone and said, “You have a very tall Angel behind you that is saying, STAND UP TALL FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.” As the heat of the tears rolled down my cheeks, I felt so small in that moment for having had those thoughts where I felt abandoned – thank goodness it didn’t last long. That day was truly pivotal for me and launched me fully on the spiritual path to complete what I felt was my souls purpose. It was shortly after that my intuition told me my work was done there. I thank each and everyone who were present in that health room and cafe' for playing their parts so well, so that I could experience all of it.

That year also was my daughter’s high school senior project in which she was to study, experience and work with a mentor on a subject of her choice. She decided to do hers on alternative medicine and asked if I could be her mentor. Usually the parent is not allowed, but for some reason they gave me permission. We had a fun time as I exposed her to various modalities such as Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Bach Flower Essences, Essential Oils, Massage, Naturopathy and Reiki. After six weeks she had to go in front of the panel of judges and give a presentation. As the word "Synchronicity" comes to mind, one of three judges that she presented to turned out to be the Christian woman who had the outburst at me in the health room. Another was the teacher (who was also present in the health room at the time of the experience) of the special education child who was injured. What are the odds of this happening? Yup – I knew the Angels had their wings flapping in on this one and my daughter received an “A” on her project.

As I reflect back to Laura’s writings during her quantum leap in her personal healing process and sharing her experiences with us, I need to say, “Thank you Laura for allowing us to witness God in Action!” Your Courage ignites the "C" in so many.

Perhaps the Ant Watcher (God) is watching his/her diligent team who lays up substance during times of plenty – wanting to be in the number, “Prov 30:25”, (3+0+2+5) adds up to a “10” (new beginning with experience, a higher frequency of understanding), then 10 breaks down to a 1 (signifying new beginnings, oneness with God, unity of life).

So, I figure if you can’t be a Saint marching in, the next best thing would be as an Ant or Ant Watcher!

"Oh… when the ants, come marching in, oh, when the ants come marching in, oh, I want to be in that number, oh, when the ants come marching in."

Happy Birthday “Musings of an Ant Watcher: aka Laura Young’s Big Blog of Life and Death, Dragon Slayer and coach of great cheer.

I toast to you my dear friend and earth angel, and with a Dragonfly salute, honor you for showing up on my radar screen.

(The only reason I started this blog was so that I could leave comments on Laura's. It is funny how these blogs become the means to journal our personal earth experiences.)

Just when I think I'm done exercising my fingers for the night, the word "BRAVE" suddenly jumped out as I inserted it into the title. I see it as "bra ve". Now what would I look like without the ve? Oh my, a new story line develops just as I'm winding this one down. Seems to me that with a good bra as a solid foundation, a "C" (See with courage) of brave might fill our cups - and of course this leads to, "May your cup runneth over with Love - Ole' Ve."

Great Tips for Self-Employment

This morning during my blog travels to friends spaces, Laura Young had some reminders and suggestions for those who are presently self-employed or contemplating this career choice.

Top 10 Things I Had to Learn on the Road to Full-Time Self-Employment

As we wind down the year, I know many of you are considering your career directions and setting some resolutions to launch your own ventures in 2007. Allow me to give you some food for thought from the other side of that transition. Going from over a decade of salaried work in a licensed profession where I had a clear role and status to full-time self-employment in a profession that is a bit like the Wild West was not without it's challenges. If you are an entrepreneur or considering making the leap, here are a few tips I can offer you from my own insights and dope slaps along the way.

1. Admit it when you need help and then ask for it. Pay for it if you have to. Stubborn independence is not an asset when you are stuck.

2. Accept help and support without worrying that people will think you less of you if you aren't a 100% Self-Made Success. There is no such thing as a successful person who was not given help along the way.

3. Don't overplan. Once you start moving, new energy, new people and new opportunities always show up. You may even discover talents that were previously dormant. Leave some room for synchronicity.

4. Develop work habits that bring out your best. It may take a while to shed old habits and the remnants of burn out. Be patient and persistent with yourself and make sure you don't just substitute one stressful job for another. Experiment with what work flow is best for you.

5. You don't have to catch every ball thrown at you. If you are working from home, it does not mean your schedule is free and that you are on call to fill everyone else's needs. Know the difference between a business and a hobby.

6. Take a look around you once in a while. One's environment is a very strong, clear reflection of your overall life balance. Mix business and pleasure. Your work should support and energize you, not drain and consume you. Not sure if you are balanced? Look around you and take note of areas that are being neglected and make a plan to handle them.

7. Just because you are good at something doesn't mean you ever really enjoyed it. It's natural to gravitate toward our strongest skills, but they may just be overworked muscles. No one likes feeling incompetent, but if there are skills and talents you would like to explore, make it a priority to devote time to developing them.

8. Don't let small stuff serve as a distraction, you will fool no one. We are always making choices, and what we choose to tolerate are the most powerful choices we make in determining how high we will reach in life. Handle the little stuff and be a good gate keeper before clutter accumulates. You may feel like you are busy but is it with the right stuff? If you were on trial for running your business, would you be convicted?

9. You won't do it exactly like anyone else. Don't assume that all the experts know the secrets to your success. Study good models but listen to your gut.

10. Take care of yourself, you are your greatest asset. People are attracted by the person, not the message. You will succeed when you walk the talk because a powerful life is the greatest attractor.

Immigration Video - Reality Check

A very sobering video!

(Immigration by the Numbers)
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4094926727128068265&q=roy+beck&hl=en

It won't make any difference if you're rich or poor, you will be adversely affected. Even if you drive a Corvette or Cadillac, you will still be stuck in gridlock traffic. If you own a million dollar house with five gold shower heads, it won't make any difference if there's no water to take a shower. You may own a 10,000 square foot house, but it still runs on electricity and natural gas that will not be there for you in 40 years......

this moment and what you are focusing your attention on.

The Effortless Juggler TGIF :-)

Starting off this Friday morning, I opened an email from Carrie Hart and enjoyed her article entitled, "The Effortless Juggler." Some weeks I have no problem handling all these balls, then whamo hits and it's not always easy to keep them floating without getting smacked a few times. The song, "Catch a Falling Star and Put it in Your Pocket" plays in my head now. Mmmm - got to get me some pants with more pockets! :-) Have a TGIF day and keep your balls rolling and flying!

Sometimes you have many balls in the air and you are nervous because you are unsure which things in your life will work out and which ones require attention. And the tension and anxiety in your life can come simply from that, anticipation of possible problems, worry that you will not be able to respond as you need to, fear that all of the balls will come tumbling down at once.

Today, rather than worrying about the various balls you have in the air, learn to have a lighter touch with your life. Focus on the one or two balls that actually require your attention this moment, then keep them all moving, toss them back up in to the mix, take a little breather between balls and then focus on the next one. And while they are in the air, hold them up with faith, with belief that you will be able to handle what comes your way in life, through a combination of your own capabilities and the help that is there for you, surrounding you, ever and always.

If you try to control all the balls that are in the air, then you may drop the one that is passing through your hand at the moment, and that is the only one that actually requires your attention. Success lies in what you do with the ball that you are touching now, how you launch it properly back up into the sky, then open to the next one that is coming down even now and give it your focus.

If you allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the possibility of not handling one of the balls, then your tension and lack of focus may get you out of harmony with the entire juggling act.

So think of yourself in this way. Picture how effortless being a juggler actually is. And every so often, you will be able to toss a ball completely out of the mix, having dispensed with it completely. And every so often a new one is tossed in. Just handle it all in good grace, with rhythm, relaxation, a very light and easy touch and absolute belief in yourself.

You are up to the task of living your life. Allow yourself to find an effortless harmony, in that ultimate state of relaxed awareness, conscious of everything, but in a highly relaxed manner. You will be amazed at how many balls you can keep in the air when you begin to adopt the juggler attitude.

Here is a little prayer for today

I handle my life easily, effortlessly, with a light and easy touch, with harmony and rhythm. It all feels easy to me and the air around me is full of faith. I live and breathe faith, and as I do so, my life gets easier and easier.

I believe completely in my own abilities. I believe also that I am surrounded by help and a deep abiding love. Love and faith sustain me.

I am power and love. I am faith. I am.

Recipe for Love

The ingredients for Love we all have on hand and within us. There is no need for any purchase, for Love has and always will be "Free," and well within our scope and nature of reality.

INGREDIENTS FOR LOVE
(Matthew Ward)

FILL YOUR CUP TO OVERFLOWING AND GIVE YOUR LIFE THAT EXTRA FLAVOR!

Love is God's sharing of Himself with all of His creations. Love is the healing force of the universe. Love is within the soul and needs only your allowance of those innate sensations of loving others and receiving their love for you. Love has no limitations, no boundaries to its capacity.

In expression, love is treating others with kindness, fairness, honesty, compassion, helpfulness, caring. If love can be said to have “ingredients,” then those are some of the ingredients of godly expression in action.

Knowing that you and God and every other of God's creations are inseparable is love. Knowing that Earth is a sentient, conscious life herself and respecting all of her life forms is love. Realizing that no one can know others at soul level and therefore does not judge them but rather does not condone an action seen as injurious, is love.

Listening to one's godself is love. Living the kind of life that engenders loving self is love. Feeling joy yourself when you see it in others is love. Doing something that brings joy to another is love. Forgiveness of self and others is love. Sharing your resources with full heart is love. Doing good deeds without attaching expectations is love.

Feeling peace of heart and mind is love. The quiet thrill of seeing a sunset or hearing a songbird is love, and a smile is one of the simplest and most radiating expressions of love.

Unsettling Fiscal Policy

"If the United States government conducts business as usual over the next few decades, a national debt that is already $8.5 trillion could reach $46 trillion or more, adjusted for inflation. That's almost as much as the total net worth of every person in America - Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and those Google guys included."

The Keys of Jeshua

"I did not come to judge you, but to set you free from judgment. You are a family. Many are lost, hurt, and alone. Judgment was the original cause of these alienated conditions. What makes you think that more judgment is the answer? I ask you to forgive one another, but more than that, I ask you to do it with all your heart."

"Anything sent forth to deceive you will be directed exactly to your ego, or to your mind. The reason is that a person's ego considers anything to be true which supports its survival, just as the mind considers anything to be true which supports the supremacy of logic. As a matter of fact, the mind cannot discern fact from fiction if both are presented with equal logic!"

I was just about to shut down the computer when an email came in from Glenda Green. Years ago I read her book, "Love Without End." It is an amazing story of her journey and the notes taken while she painted a portrait of "Jesus." Her words compiled, finally culminated in a book.

She has another book out that caught my attention tonight, "The Keys of Jeshua."
(There are keys that open doors to astounding perceptions and higher states of being. These teachings are a gift to your heart for the fulfillment of your life. Discover the courage to be fully conscious. Unlock your creativity and fulfill the desires of your heart.)

I thoroughly enjoyed her first book and look forward to reading the new one.

Daylight Savings Time!

At 2 a.m. on October 30, groggy Americans will turn their clocks back one hour, marking the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST).

The federal law that established “daylight time” in this country does not require any area to observe daylight saving time. But if a state chooses to observe DST, it must follow the starting and ending dates set by the law. From 1986 to 2006 this has been the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, but starting in 2007, it will be observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, adding about a month to daylight saving time.

The Eyes of Illumination

White Peacock - its higher aspect means the eyes of illumination through higher extrasensory perception. If we are to evolve as a society to find permanent and lasting solutions to the world's problems, this animal totem gives us clues as to how it must be done. We must come back to our senses and see through the eyes of Spirit.

Three Freedoms: Going, Going....

This morning I checked in over at Kate's blog and read her post on, "Boomer and Other Radicals." She was wondering if we have bought into the paranoia that is currently stripping our freedoms, and why are we quiet - where is our voice? What happened to our voice?

I happened to respond that I think many are pushing the "Snooze" button and choosing to sleep a little more. This morning on another web site - Urban Survival, this was posted...

Three Freedoms: Going, Going...

There are three stories, each one of which has profound implications for Constitutionalists and those of us who still hold to the Bill of Rights and other traditions of the American system of government which hold our rapt attention today; partly because of the "window" the web bot project has outlined for this coming weekend, and partly because the hold so much potential for abuse of power. Here's the summary - the details follow:

George Bush has signed a law eliminating the right of habeas corpus for unlawful enemy combatants.

Your free use of the internet is in the gunsights of DHS's Michael Chertoff.

DHS is moving toward a system that would require government permission to travel outside the United States.

If we do not awaken from our slumber and sluggish drug induced media hypnosis, speak out and take action, we boomers will be caught with our britches down. Instead of being called "Boomers," it may be replaced with "Butt Heads".

Definitely get out and VOTE!

INDIGO CHILDREN: The New Kids Have Arrived

INDIGO CHILDREN: The New Kids Have Arrived

Author: Carroll, Lee & Tober, Jan
Publisher: HayH
From the cover? The Indigo Child is a boy or girl who displays a new and unusual set of psychological attributes, revealing a pattern of behavior generally undocumented before. This pattern has singularly unique factors that call for parents and teachers to change their treatment and upbringing of these kids to assist them in achieving balance and harmony in their lives, and to help them avoid frustration. In this groundbreaking book, the authors answer many of the often puzzling questions surrounding Indigo Children.

Last night while driving home I discovered a new Home Decor store had opened nearby. I was just thinking the other day, how much I enjoy looking at all the new creations of beauty the artists bring to us. Today I felt guided to check it out. The store was beautiful, serene and a very nice man (part owner with his wife) behind the counter was engaging me in conversation. He had just announced that the day before his wife gave birth to their first child, a little girl whom they named Lily. From there our conversation went to health insurance, his own medical history that he maintains by using natural remedies, and then the mention of Chocolate and magnesium. He said that his wife was given magnesium IV for her high blood pressure. I then related what I wrote earlier today about magnesium helping with muscle spasms. He said he had been eating a lot of chocolate the past few days and that is something that he normally doesn't do. He sheepishly held up a bag of chocolate that was next to him and half was gone. He figured it was his emotions creating the urge. I suggested lots of chocolate for the next year while pulling those all nighters with the baby. :-)

At some point I mentioned to him a book that he may be interested in reading since bi-polar disorder had been diagnosed in his family. The book is entitled, "The Indigo Children," by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. In it they also gave suggestions on nutrition, since many children who are diagnosed as ADD or ADHD benefit from changes in their diet. I believe I read recently that a state in the Midwest now requires this book to be read by all teachers. While I was thinking of this book today, I decided to include it here today as a reference source.

Low Magnesium and Chocolate Cravings

Last night I ran across an article by Dr. Nan Kathryn Fuchs entitled, "The Great Calcium Hoax," and found it to be quite interesting. It said that medical studies show that calcium supplements are virtually useless for treating osteoporosis.

This past summer while remodeling the kitchen and doing extensive lifting and bending exercises, I pulled my back and experienced muscle spasms. I can remember thinking to myself earlier in May, that perhaps I would take the summer off down at the office, and concentrate on the remodel and play time. The Universe granted my desire for downtime, it was just that I forgot to state how I wanted to enjoy and play out this bit of vacation time. :-)

What I noticed about myself was that suddenly I craved chocolate. Now chocolate has never been a Lenten penance for me, because it was something I rarely ate or craved. This new desire to inhale a snickers (which never seemed to completely satisfy) followed by a Mars or Hershey bar, or whatever I could find in my kitchen, was totally out of character. I have wondered about this sudden craving for months and have mentioned it to friends. Last night after reading this article, I think I may have my answer. In the article while talking about calcium and magnesium it stated that, "Magnesium causes muscles to relax...while calcium causes them to contract".

So I guess at some level, my spirit was helping me to discover a natural muscle relaxer in the form of chocolate. It also mentioned and I quote, "What's more, magnesium helps fight food cravings. It's no accident that many women get chocolate cravings before and during their periods. You see, PMS is caused by low levels of magnesium...and cocoa is one of the world's most magnesium-rich foods!" So women, we do not need any more excuses for eating chocolate. Give yourself permission to enjoy a Dove bar for nourishment of your body & spirit on occasion, and think about upping your magnesium levels.

(Foods rich in magnesium include whole grains, nuts, beans, seeds, fish, avocados, and leafy green vegetables; they're some of the most nutritious foods around. An ounce of sunflower seeds contains 100 milligrams; almonds, 85; cashews, 75; wheat germ, 70; brazil nuts, 65; dark chocolate, 35. A half cup of cooked spinach, Swiss chard, or cooked beans contains 60 to 80 milligrams. Three ounces of many kinds of fish has 50 to 90 milligrams. About 80% of the magnesium in grains is in the bran and germ, which are removed in the milling of flour and rice, so refined grain products (such as white bread and white rice) are poor sources. If your drinking water is hard, you'll get a fair amount of magnesium from it.)

Home remodeling can be stressful, and when the kitchen is involved in the dismantle, it is easy to forget to nourish ourselves properly. I know I will pay more attention to feeding the body proper nutrition, and deep breathe and meditate to soothe the emotions.

Magnesium also helps to relieve Migraines, Insomnia, Depression and more! I had read in the past that when taking calcium supplements, you always want to take it with magnesium, this article helped me to understand a little more. I have never been a big fan of taking calcium supplements by themselves and rarely did, even though all the media hype says at my age it is critical.

Happy SUNday, and may your day be blessed by the Dove of Spirit.

Greg Tamblyn -Listen to Song for Free "A Brief History of God" (G-String Theory)

"We're All Just Vibrating Strings in God's Big Guitar" Outrageous Healthy Music Humor

This man is really one of a kind. His music will make you laugh - says it contains anti-depressive lyrics. He may be a much better prescription than Prozac! :-) It's full of lyrics that brings out the spiritual/metaphysical aspects of life in a very enlightening way. If anyone is in need for this type of entertainment for conferences, I heard he really is quite fantastic. I just listened to the song, "A Brief History of God (G-String Theory)" and enjoyed it.

You may want to check out his web site and perhaps join him on one of his upcoming tours, buy some of his CD's and also sign up for his free newsletter.

(Note from Greg)

NEW E-BOOK
My collection of stories, ATILLA THE GATE AGENT (Travel Tales and
Life Lessons from a Musical Laf-ologist) is finally ready for your
perusal. (Is that a word?) These are short pieces about unusual,
interesting people and events I've encountered while out there on the
road. Some are funny (I hope), like floating a player piano down a
river in Alaska, and some are inspiring, like the story of Evy
McDonald healing herself from Lou Gehrig's disease. Some have
appeared in this newsletter over the years, and some are new.
Currently it's in e-Book form for $11.95. (I hope to have a print
version available next year.) To check out the cover, read the
contents, and read the first page, click here:

NEW SONGS:
I've started a special website for new songs, and some older or
unreleased ones. You can listen to each entire song for free, and if
you want to own it, you can download it for a dollar. You can also
view a couple of streaming videos of two new songs (free). No special
equipment is needed on your computer. The website plays them on its
own player, so it's easy. It even works on a dial-up connection. Some
of the songs include:

NEW CD PRICES

I'm not sure why, not even sure for how long, but I've slashed,
lowered, chopped, reduced, and otherwise cut CD prices by a TON.

Why? It just seemed like a good thing to do.

Okay, the real reason?

Clyde told me to.

Honest.

I just hope he's sober.

As always, thanks for reading and listening. If you have a suggestion
for a musically humorous wellness appearance (corporate, association,
church, community center), please feel free to pass it along. I love
hearing from you, and hope to see you soon.

Thought for the Day

Thanks to Osho............

"Suffering is not holding you. You are holding suffering. When you
become good at the art of letting sufferings go, then you'll come to
realize how unnecessary it was for you to drag those burdens around with
you. You'll see that no one else other than you was responsible. The truth
is that existence wants your life to become a festival."

Could Spiritual Healing Actually Work?

I enjoyed this article that I just finished reading and thought I would share. I witness this frequently, and know in the deepest places of my being, body, mind, soul and spirit need to be addressed for true healing to be accomplished.

Could Spiritual Healing Actually Work?
By Dr DANNY PENMAN, Daily Mail - UK
Oct 4, 2006,

Once dismissed as hokum, new evidence is forcing doctors to accept the power of spiritual healing.

After six years of agonising pain, Ailsa Marsh was beginning to despair that she would ever lead a normal life again. 'I was bedridden and couldn't leave the house,' recalls the 28-year-old student.

'All of my senses became hypersensitive. If somebody spoke to me, it felt as if they were shouting. I couldn't bear the light so my parents hung duvets over the windows. Even lying in bed was painful.'

Ailsa's suffering began in 1998 following a bout of glandular fever. At the time she was a politics and philosophy student at Durham University. But the disease robbed her of drive and energy, eventually forcing her to return home to her parents in Newcastle.

Over the following months she became weaker and weaker and was eventually diagnosed with ME. Conventional medicine offered no hope. Ailsa saw more than 20 doctors and was hospitalised countless times. The doctors could find no cause for the ME and could offer no cure.

Then in January 2004, quite by chance, Ailsa read an article about the spiritual healer David Cunningham. 'I'd tried everything else,' she says, 'so I thought I might as well go and see him.

'I didn't know what to expect, but he listened intently to me for half an hour and then put on a tape of soothing music.

'As I began to relax, David placed his hands about a centimetre above my shoulders. I felt as if he was putting his hands inside me and untwisting a tap. The pain just vanished - it went in an instant. That day, I left David with more energy than I'd had in six years.'

Over the following four months, Ailsa returned every week. Within a few months she was able to go shopping and walk from one side of Newcastle to the other.

'That summer, I went on a family holiday and there's pictures of me doing handstands in the sea. I'd gone from being in a wheelchair to being able to do all the normal things a woman of my age could do.'

Although Ailsa is utterly convinced that David Cunningham cured her of ME, many others are sceptical. How can a man with no medical training treat a chronic painful disease merely by placing his hands over a patient's body? For decades, researchers have dismissed cases such as Ailsa's as pure hokum.

But now, in an astonishing about-turn, scientists in the U.S. and UK have compiled a dossier of evidence that might - just might - show that prayer and spiritual healing are not just quackery after all.

Professor Harald Walach, a psychologist from the University of Northampton, says: 'We should take this phenomenon seriously even if we don't understand it. To ignore it would be unscientific. Our work shows that there is a significant effect.'

For despite it being the most widely practised alternative remedy, science has only recently begun to investigate whether spiritual healing actually works. Scientists and doctors simply assumed that it didn't.

One of the first attempts to investigate healing focused on its flipside: the curse. In the late 1960s, U.S. scientists decided to see whether focusing vindictive and negative thoughts on a small sample of mould - chosen because it is one of the most primitive living organisms - could somehow inhibit its growth.

Astonishingly, out of 194 mould samples 'cursed', 151 showed retarded growth.

Another group of scientists began researching whether thought power alone could be used in a positive way, to help diseased animals. Experiments revealed that mice wake faster after a general anaesthetic if healing thoughts are 'sent' their way.

In other studies, mice recovered faster and more completely from a form of breast cancer if healers 'laid on hands' while sending them positive thoughts and energy.

So if healing helps ailing lab animals, might it also help the sick to recover faster? Surprising as it seems, there's growing evidence that it might.

According to cardiologist Dr Randolph Byrd at San Francisco General Hospital, heart patients who are prayed for by Christian groups need less medicine and suffer fewer complications.

Other scientists have found similarly inexplicable results. In virtually every area they have looked, scientists have found evidence that praying for the sick helps them recover faster.

For example, studies at the California Pacific Medical Centre on Aids patients found that they survive in greater numbers, become sick less often and recover faster than those who are not prayed for.

Professor Walach, a psychologist at the University of Northampton, recently conducted an exhaustive analysis of all the data and came to the conclusion that spiritual healing really does work. He is gaining powerful supporters, too.

Professor Peter Fen-wick, a consultant neuro-psychiatrist at King's College London, has studied the phenomenon and says: 'There are four possibilities.

'Either we're dealing with fraud on a massive scale; or large numbers of able and gifted researchers are simply wrong; or hundreds of reports disproving healing haven't been published. All these seem unlikely, so we're left with the possibility that the effect is real.'

'Now we need to move on and understand what "healing" is and how it works. And we're starting to do just that.'

Dean Radin, a parapsychologist working at the Institute of Noetic Sciences in California, is in the vanguard of this research. He has found compelling evidence that one person's positive healing thoughts has a noticeable impact on another's mind and body.

Radin focused his work on couples, one of whom had cancer, reasoning that any 'psychic' connection would be strongest between people who loved each other. He trained the healthy partner to cultivate and project positive healing thoughts towards their ailing loved one.

To help eliminate pure chance, the healthy partner was asked to send the healing 'energy' at a time randomly chosen by computer.

The results were both amazing and startling. At the precise moment the healthy partner transmitted the healing thoughts, remarkable changes occurred in the mind and body of their ailing partner. Their breathing and blood flow increased significantly, while their brain and skin electrical activity changed dramatically. Clearly something profound was happening.

'Patients described having a warm feeling inside,' says Dr Radin. 'Whether this promotes healing remains to be seen.'

The NHS already employs healers to help seriously ill and dying patients. Ruth Kaye is a healer at the Yorkshire Centre for Clinical Oncology in Leeds. She has spent the past 16 years spiritually healing patients in the NHS. Her aim is to augment conventional medicine and to help eliminate the side-effects of such treatments as chemotherapy.

'The spirit is the missing link that medicine does not address, but it is the key and secret of life,' she says. 'One of my patients described my work as being one part of a three-legged stool.

'There is the medicine, which is one leg, the surgery, and finally the spirit. Without the spirit element, the stool would fall over.

'Patients who use things like spiritual healing often use fewer drugs and are less reliant on antidepressants or sleeping tablets. In short, they are less of a drain on an over-stretched NHS.'

Jenny Quantrell, who successfully underwent treatment for breast cancer, says she was helped enormously by Ruth.

'Ruth has a special gift. I simply closed my eyes when she was healing me and I saw loads of bright lights. It felt as if I was having my battery recharged.

'I hadn't slept for days, but afterwards I fell into the most wonderful relaxing sleep. I don't know how it works but I know that it does. I don't need to understand it.'

And that's perhaps all the faith you need to benefit from this most mysterious phenomenon.

Sunday Sermon with Maureen Moss "The Insight of Choice"

I am off to work with a client this Sunday morning to extend a Reiki session. At this point in my life, I feel it important now to help minister to others. There comes a point when one graduates from the formal religious organizations, and then must then step into their own role in community and world service.

This morning an email came in from World Puga with a great message from Maureen Moss. Although copyrighted, she asked we please pass it along. As a blogger, this seems to be a good way to pass this valuable and insightful message on through this internet highway.

Happy Sunday and Remember to Make Choices today from your Heart Center or with Great Love!

The Insight of Choice

(Copyright Maureen Moss, but please pass it along ok, because it's really
very simple and simple is good nowadays.)

Your life so far is the result of every choice you have made. You are
fully accountable for your life, regardless of the part anyone else
played in it. Every choice you make from this day forward will determine
your true intention to be free from lower realms of consciousness, or
not. Your rest of your life rests upon every single choice you make
beginning now.

Choices are made in one of two ways—out of fear, or out of love.
The moment a choice is made out of fear, another choice of fear will be
right behind it. Every fearful choice you make builds a negative
momentum, and traps you. Make choices only after you have sought counsel
with inner guidance flowing to you from the highest wisdom and straight
into your heart.

Consorting with your mind regarding your choices will keep you hostage
to choices based on fixed notions, other people’s opinions, or the
promise of external fulfillment, which by now you realize is illusion.
What you may not fully realize is that whenever a choice arises, both
your inner guidance and your mind speak to you. Please learn to discern
the difference, immediately, or you will always be at war with yourself.

The proper choice is the one that doesn’t drag you into your former
impulses based on fear of the future or external ambition. You are
capable of breaking the momentum of all of your past improper,
fear-based choices by setting up a new, positive momentum. You do this
with each wise choice you make out of love for yourself. It's never to
late. Remember the past is over, unless you're still dragging around!

Have a wonderful month everyone and join us whenever you can. Believe
it or not your energy makes a difference.

In gratitude and love,

Fear Factor

A few nights ago I watched Oprah and Friends on CNN with Larry King. The morning began for her in celebration of her new venture into satellite radio. Her panel of friends who will host their own radio program via her channel, are very intelligent, and their personal LIGHT quotient I would say was definitely amped up! :-)

One word that was passed around quite a bit was "FEAR." Fear is what holds up back from manifesting our pure potential as a human. Fear is what controls our behavior and actions. Fear.....Fear......Fear and all illusion. Why is it that fear grips us so?

I came across this writing this morning by Ron Van Dyke and thought I would share. May we all work towards eliminating the fears in our life.

"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

- Albert Einstein

"The human experience has been a fear-based series of events and lifetimes. Everyone ends up dying. When we do not know who we are, that is very frightening and we have all forgotten. Some have called it collective unconsciousness or created amnesia. That's why the leaders can hold up the mirror of terror and generate the fear they desire. It's easy-except among those who are starting to remember, a number that is increasing exponentially, by the way. What is it that WE are remembering? As we peer more deeply into out own fear of mortality, images fade in and out of view. These recollected images reveal something beyond the fear, or perhaps even hidden deep within it. They are images of immortality, images indicating that we are more than mere finite beings having a human experience. We are Spirit. However, unless you are able to sense those images in some manner and accept that they are revealing deeper reality, you won't get it. You're stuck in the surface layers, which offer little hope. That hope comes in the deeper layers, which everyone who is willing can access. In fact, Life keeps on presenting us with mirrors until we become willing. That's called Love, believe it or not. Life Loves life! That's its job. It loves us so much that it never quits; it never gives up on us. We are all Children of Life whose destiny is to rediscover that we are all Masters of Love, too."

Wake Up a-little Suzy

The rainy Monday that started the week, ended with the rays of the sun bursting through. Earlier in the day, I met with a friend and we exchanged energy sessions. I always enjoy my time spent with this friend and usually leave with renewed vigor and clarity.

When it was her turn for table time I barely began when the song, "Wake Up a-little Suzy" started playing in my mind and not very quiet. Smiling, I relay what I'm hearing. She informed me that her middle name is Sue and it was also that of her mothers who transitioned a number of years ago. The pictures in my mind's eye that followed during the session were that of a lock and then a locket. I asked her if someone had given her a locket and she said, "Yes, her Great Grandmother gave her one many years ago." She had it inscribed with the name, "Peach Blossom" on it as it was her nickname for her. She told me later that inside the locket contained a mustard seed. When I thought of her Great Grandmother the words, "Symphony of Love" streamed through. This energy brought tears to my eyes, as it flowed through my energy channels.

My sessions sometimes are like playing clue. Often random pictures are shown which make little sense to me at the time. One of the funniest ones today was the picture of licorice. Later we went for lunch and my friend ate cheese and drank a glass of wine, thus she said her nose was stuffing up. I guess the combination of foods do that to her. Later on in the evening I looked up licorice in one of my dream books and it says, "Licorice - Egyptian memory; for circulation; for the nostrils." Looks like we were also given a remedy for the upcoming physical symptom she was to experience.

While thumbing through the dream book I opened to the page, "Peach Blossom" and it said these words meant "A symbol of a promise of new and pure events." Tonight I was searching for meanings of the mustard seed and ran across this following article. Although the usual interpretation is that of having faith and moving mountains, this one written by Fr. Thomas Keating felt more aligned for me.

My thought....When we unlock the locket (our heart and mind) to the grace of the mustard seed sown, we will know and live each ordinary day as the Kingdom of God, due to a change in our attitude and perception on reality, without having to wait for an apocalypse or someone to deliver us from our difficulties, as Fr. Thomas writes.

On one web site as I looked at a picture of a peach blossom, it also said that it was of China origin and a member of the rose family. The Peach Blossom is always welcomed in my garden. :-)

The Kingdom of God is Like . . .
By Fr. Thomas Keating

The Parable of the Mustard Seed

He said therefore, "What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in the garden; it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches." (Luke 13:18-19)

The thrust of the parables is to subvert the distorted myths in which people live their lives. To understand what we mean by "living in a myth" just think of a couple of our own contemporary myths. Take the myth of "the All American Boy," for example. This is the young man who gets straight A's in college and graduate school, climbs the executive ladder, and perhaps becomes the head of a multinational. Or the "American Dream:" two cars in every garage, vacations in Florida, houses in Spain, and so forth. On a more serious level, the American dream has been a vision of America's invincibility, of its absolute entitlement in the eyes of God.

A myth is often what holds people's lives together. It is an attempt to resolve the tensions of everyday life by promising an idealized future in which one will be rescued from all the problems of ordinary life. When a myth begins to falter, great leaders may try to find ways to recapture the glory of earlier days, like John F. Kennedy's effort to rekindle the American dream by sending a man to the moon. American astronauts did go to the moon, but meanwhile the Vietnam war devastated the prestige of American invincibility and with it the American dream.

For the Israelites of Jesus' time, the tension between everyday reality and a mythical vision of Israel as God's chosen people was felt with particular urgency. From the heyday of national power and prestige during the reigns of King David and King Solomon, Israel had been on a downhill slide for several centuries, its kingdom conquered and divided several times over. If one lives in occupied territories, as the Israelites of Jesus' time did, the question naturally arises, "Is this ghastly oppression by the Romans a punishment from God, or is our suffering just part of the human condition?" In the particular myth in which the people of first-century Israel were living, the kingdom of God had specific connotations of power, triumph, holiness, and goodness. The kingdom, when it came, would introduce a glorious new age of universal peace, with God's chosen people at the head of the nations.

The cultural symbol for this myth was the great cedar of Lebanon. Cedars of Lebanon were comparable to the huge redwood trees of California. They grew straight up for two or three hundred feet or more. Every kind of bird could enjoy their shade. This image was deeply embedded in the cultural conditioning of the Jewish people. The kingdom of God as a nation would be the greatest of all nations just as the great cedar of Lebanon was the greatest of all trees.

Instead, Jesus proposed this parable, "What is the kingdom of God really like? It is like a mustard seed"--proverbially the smallest and most insignificant of all seeds--"that someone took and sowed in his garden." for an alert hearer of Jesus' day, the detail about the garden would be a tip-off. In the Jewish view of the world, order was identified with holiness and disorder with uncleanness. Hence there were very strict rules about what could be planted in a household garden. The rabbinical law of diverse kinds ruled that one could not mix certain plants in the same garden. A mustard plant was forbidden in a household garden because it was fast spreading and would tend to invade the veggies. In stating that this man planted a mustard seed in his garden, the hearers are alerted to the fact that he was doing something illegal. An unclean image thus becomes the starting point for Jesus' vision of the kingdom of God in this parable.

If the starting point is an unclean image, the rest of the parable becomes even more perplexing. What do we know about a mustard seed, botanically speaking: it is a common, fast-spreading plant, which grows to about four feet in height. It puts out a few branches, and with some stretch of the imagination, birds might build a few down-at-the-heel nests in its shade.

Steeped in their cultural images of the great cedar of Lebanon, the hearers would be expecting the mustard seed, Jesus' symbol of the kingdom, to grow into a mighty apocalyptic tree. Jesus' point is exactly the opposite. It just becomes a bush. Thus the image of the kingdom of God as a towering cedar of Lebanon is explicitly ridiculed. According to Jesus, the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which some man illegally planted in his garden. It became a shrub and a few birds nested in its modest branches. That's all. The parable subverts all the grandiose ideas about what the kingdom is going to be like when it finally arrives.

One of the most firmly held Israelite expectations was that the kingdom of God would manifest the final triumph of God in history. Its arrival, heralded by the long-awaited Messiah, would rescue Israel from its miserable subservience to the Roman Empire. It was a future kingdom, not one in the here-and-now. Jesus' parable implies that if we accept the God of everyday life, we can find God in everyday life. We do not have to wait for an apocalyptic deliverance. We do not have to wait for a grandiose liberation. The kingdom is available right now.

The parables, according to Scott, are like handles on the mystery of the kingdom, pointers suggesting both what it is and what it is not. We cannot fully understand the kingdom because it is a mystery that transcends any possibility of being contained in a concept. But by rotating the wisdom of Jesus' sayings in our mind's eye and with the help of the parables, we can at least get a glimpse of it.

A parable points to something we only gradually come to know as we absorb the teaching of Jesus. In this parable he intimates that God is not necessarily going to intervene in this world for the triumph of the just. He may not intervene in an apocalyptic manner to deliver Israel or bring about justice and peace. He has entrusted the latter to us. We are not to wait around for an apocalyptic intervention to do the job.

If we lead a holy life--as opposed to a merely respectable one--we are likely to lose most of our friends and relatives. We might get one or two of them to follow our example, but it is like the mustard seed. We may get a modest result, but it is not in the nature of cedar of Lebanon. All we are likely to get is an inconspicuous shrub of which there are plenty of others all around in great variety. The mustard seed is just one step ahead of being an ordinary weed.

How are we to understand this deliberate use by Jesus of the unclean and insignificant as images of his kingdom? It suggests that God's greatest works are not done on a grandiose level. Not in cathedrals, big buildings, or large mausoleums. Cathedrals can become museums rather than sources of inspiration for the Christian community. The kingdom is in everyday life with its ups and downs, and above all, in is insignificance. Such is where most people actually live their lives. The kingdom is thus readily accessible to everybody.

The parable affirms that grace is like a mustard seed sown in us, the smallest of all seeds. It is growing, but it is not going to turn us into a cedar of Lebanon. We will be doing well if we become a modest shrub.

So hard was it for people of Jesus' time to get over their idea of the kingdom of God as a triumphant institution that even the evangelists tried to change it into something great anyway. In other words, the myth recaptured the parable. The parable was meant to change one's idea about the kingdom, but what happened was that the old mindset began to interpret the parable in a way that was consistent with its former mythical expectations. There are four versions of this parable in the Gospels, three in the synoptics and one in the Gospel of Thomas, a document recovered about fifty years ago in the Nag Hammadi Gnostic Collection, which many exegetes think is closer in some places to the original oral tradition. For Luke and Matthew, contrary to all botanical good sense, the mustard seed does turn into a tree. In Mark, it turns into the greatest of shrubs. In Thomas, it turns into a great branch so that a lot of birds can rest in its shade. All of these expectations are contrary to the facts A mustard seed does not become a tree, the greatest of shrubs, or put forth a great branch, however much one may want it to. The oral tradition was evidently influenced by the old expectations of grandeur as people gradually slipped back into their former mindsets. They lost the radical thrust and the incredible freedom to which the parable called them. For us too, it is a threat to our preconceived ideas and mythical belief systems, and hence there is a strong tendency to resist its stark realism.

If we are looking for a great expansion of our particular religion, nation, ethnic group, social movement, or whatever, into some great visible organization that fills the earth, we are on the wrong track. This is not God's idea of success. Where are the mightiest works of the kingdom accomplished? in our attitudes and hence in secret. Where there is charity, there is God. Opportunities to work for the homeless, the starving, the aging, are all readily available. No one may notice our good deeds, including ourselves. The kingdom of God manifests itself in the modest changes in our attitudes and in the little improvements in our behavior that no one may notice, including ourselves. These are the mighty works of God, not great external accomplishments.

"To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?" Jesus asked. The kingdom is manifested in ordinary daily life and how we live it. Can we accept the God of everyday life? If we can, then we can enjoy the kingdom here and now, without having to wait for an apocalypse or someone to deliver us from our difficulties.

C. G. Jung and words for today

That I feed the hungry,

forgive an insult, and love my enemy -

these are great virtues.

But what if I should discover

that the poorest of the beggars

and most impudent of offenders

are all within me,

and that I stand the need

of all the alms of my kindness;

that I myself am the enemy

who must be loved -

what then?

Ghost Tree Has Human Face

(Now this could replace crop circles) ! :-)

Markings on a five-metre tall betal nut tree in Kampung Paya clearly resemble human eyes, teeth and a nose, according to the New Strait Times.

Zainol Nayan, 54, spotted the curves emerging a month ago but said the resemblence to a human face only became obvious last week.

He told the paper: "Since then, villagers have gathered around the tree to see for themselves and the news spread like wildfire, attracting outsiders."

Housewife Noraziah Zakaria added: "I was curious and shocked to find that the curves indeed look like a human face."

Villagers, who call it the 'ghost tree, claim the face changes each day and they are selling photographs to visitors.

Zero Point Technology

Today was a surfing day while flying over the internet looking for interesting articles that peeked my interest. The work of Nikola Tesla has always captured my attention, and today's article made reference of this free energy that is available right now, but not for us. (Can you imagine if oil was no longer a contributing factor to our energy related wars?)

The Truth

A Wake-Up Call to
the American People

an interview with Adam Trombly
by Celeste Adams

Adam Trombly is one of the top scientists in the world in the development and creation of Zero Point Energy technology. Devices that he built are working today in other parts of the world. And yet, instead of using Zero Point Energy, Adam Trombly's own house in Maui is being fitted with a bank of expensive solar panels.

Why can't Trombly use his own expertise to fuel his own home? Trombly has spent most of his professional life under one gag order or another. But he decided, he told us, "that if I was going to give an interview for this particular publication, I wasn't going to pull any punches."

If much of this seems overly negative, keep reading. Trombly wants to wake us up, and to shine a light upon things that have been kept dark. But his grounding is deeply spiritual. It's just that the Divine forces that seek to assist us cannot do so unless we call upon them. "Now, in this moment," he tells us, "we must come out and ask for help. When we can ask for help, we get it."

Adam Trombly's revelations will shock you to the depths. But it is his hope, and ours, that it will help you to awaken, or to assist you in your task of awakening others.

Trombly's ultimate vision is the "redreaming of the American Dream."

Physics set for monster revolution

Just another day of uncovering bits of news.

This article caught my eye.

Physics set for monster revolution

Physics could be turned on its head by a monster machine that can make black holes and may provide the first real evidence that extra dimensions exist.

Scientists have no idea what they will find when the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) starts smashing elementary particles together next year at energies never reached before.

One possibility is that it will create Higgs particles, which some theorists think may be involved in giving objects mass.

It might also verify Professor Stephen Hawking's theory that black holes "evaporate" over time, or produce mysterious "dark matter".

But physicists are most excited about the prospect of finding the "fingerprints" of other dimensions.

If that happened, it would lead to the biggest upheaval in physics since an apple bounced off Sir Isaac Newton's head and got him wondering about gravity.

Alternatives to the "Standard Model" that describes universe's particles and forces, such as String Theory, require more than the three familiar spatial dimensions of length, breadth and height. Some call for 11 or more dimensions, which may be tightly curled up and hidden from our world.

But these theories are founded on nothing but complex arithmetic. The LHC could provide the first solid evidence that one or more really do reflect the nature of reality.

Dr Brian Cox, from the University of Manchester, who will be working at the LHC in Geneva, said: "We've built a machine that operates beyond the energy where we really know what's happening. In the history of particle physics, there's never been such a jump. It could uncover some of the really big questions."

The circular-shaped LHC is the biggest machine ever built and cost in excess of £4.26 billion. Measuring 27km across, it sits 100m below the French-Swiss border. The machine has just one purpose, to collide beams of high energy protons and recreate conditions that existed less than a billionth of a second after the Big Bang at the dawn of creation.

Reflections

I awoke remembering part of my dream that occured around 5:00 am today. In the remembrance of working with and preparing others for upcoming events, I told them they should listen for the song, "Moon River" sung by Andy Williams. When they heard it playing, it would mean that the angels were contacting them.

It is a day of quiet reflection as the event of 9/11 lingers in our hearts and soul. One just has to put themselves in another's place who lived the loss of a loved one on that day, to get a feeling of what it must be like. I then think of what it must be like for the families of the 50,000 innocent civilians who have been killed in Iraq, part of what America has inflicted on them. I wonder if they are able to hold services and vigils for the traumas that surely they must endure as well. One has to wonder where the insanity that holds and grips the minds of men will eventually lead to. How many more wake-up calls are we going to get before we truly awaken to a greater truth of reality? How many more families will suffer tremendous grief of the retaliations that are done from the unbalanced minds of our world leaders and labeled justified actions?

Truly if our educational systems would teach about "Universal Laws" and how they apply in our every day lives, we might just have a chance of surviving this insanity.

This morning in a newsletter I read the following:

"Love your enemies; forgive those who ill-use you; pray for those who speak evil of you, ... and if you cannot do this in your own strength, seek by all possible means to do it in the power of spirit - Divine Consciousness.

PRAY and MEDITATE and ask for help. It will be given you if you persist.

If the ego persists in forcing your thoughts downward again to virulence and anger and raising all kinds of arguments as to why you should condemn someone who has deeply hurt and even wounded you physically, go into meditation again and again, seeking insight and relief from your dilemma, asking to have these troublesome recurring angry and vindictive thoughts removed from you......

NOT to please God

as you have been taught by the churches

but to protect yourself from the whiplash of your angry thoughts which rebound in your lives bearing violent upheavals and further rows and arguments to deal with.

FOR - whatever power you give to resentful thoughts, that power will send a direct electrical stream of consciousness to the person who hurt you, - AND the stream of consciousness returns, zinging its way back to you in due course, like a boomerang.

You must know that every electrical field creates a like magnetic field - the two always work together - so that WHAT GOES OUT EVENTUALLY RETURNS.

This is a scientific law of existence but what science does not yet admit is this:

Electrical force powers the mind; it is the consciousness impulse of 'Get Going' in the mind.

Electrical force is a facet of consciousness.

Two-faced Magnetism powers the human and animal emotions - it 'attracts' and it 'repels'. It is the impulse of human love and the impulse of hatred.

Magnetism is experienced by all living things as emotion - feeling.
Are Americans shedding tears for the innocents who died under the hail of bombs deposited night after night for no good reason other than a vitriolic hatred of Hussein? Do they hold services for the Iraqian dead? Do they even consider that they have murdered innocents - who had no protection against the USA horrific weapons and had never done them a moment's harm?

Just consider the weight of the emotional distress unleashed by all of this insufferable and arrogant destruction of another country - destruction which has freed all the rebel fighting groups which Hussein had kept in check. Unleashed a most foul mode of killing others - the suicide bombs. Every time such bombs go off - thus killing innocent bystanders, the Americans who supported war against Iraq, should realize that it was their support which made such suicide bombing possible.

Just consider the unleashing of the gigantic, untold emotional vibrations of horror, hate, revenge, and retaliation that is now directed at America.

How do the Americans think that all this 'Hatred Energy' will be manifested against them?

Because it will be manifested as death and destruction. It is a law of existence. Even 'Christian' churches claim to believe this law.

Where there is no FORGIVENESS there is retribution in the form of Cause and Effect.

FORGIVENESS, complete and total and LOVING, dispels the violent hatred energies.

Without forgiveness, they gather momentum from the ongoing resentment of the opponent.

Read the article on 'Cracks in your planet' and then ask yourselves how all this terrifying load of hate will be manifested. Who, in America, will - SOONER OR LATER -be the targets?

Therefore I tell you clearly: In your home, in your community, in your town, in your State, in your country - FORGIVE whoever has injured you in any way - big or small. Let this word ring out across your land through any means you have.

And if you cannot forgive easily because your ego will not let you - then bring your hurt and anger to Divine Consciousness (which I termed the 'Father' when in Palestine) and ask for Its inflow of Spiritual Directing Power to gently ease and remove the burden from your minds.

Indeed, those who occupy the highest positions in the most powerful nations, and cause the most horrific damage in the world are received with pomp and ceremony, smiles and handshakes by the religious leaders of the various 'Christian' religions. The blind grip hands and give blessings to the blind."

I would like to add, "Wake-Up" for the time of slumber has passed. This earth and our survival depends upon us becoming Spiritual Adults.

Hold that Thought!

A revolution -
more powerful and pervasive than any that man has undergone so far -
not political, economic, scientific or technological
but deeper and more basic, is now on.
It is the Spiritual Revolution.
It sharpens the inner vision of man so that he can see the Atmic reality.
Its impact will surely envelop and enrich all human communities and transform mankind into a stream of seekers flowing smoothly to the limitless sea of Divinity.

God on Your Own

It has been an interesting few days with the topic of God, religion, death, etc., whirling around. With the Middle East conflict going 24/7, I would imagine most people's nerves are becoming a little frayed. I have recently had communication with a very zealous "Christian" woman spouting bible quotes, while chastizing many. In her having to be right about her beliefs, she spoke so unkindly of others who had a different reference and perception on life. While reading her communication that she sent to me, I had a vision of her holding her bible still preaching that Jonah was eaten by the whale (she did reference this) and her critical remarks were like an AK47 blasting all who did not join in with her beliefs. Then I was shown a woman suicide bomber - they were side by side - both extremists and ready to kill for their perception of the RIGHT GOD. I think the war is helping all of us to rethink our beliefs and just how they have influenced our minds, thus affecting our actions.

Funny - this woman's last name is "West" and it appears she absolutely does not like Eastern philosophy! She sure did rake the philospher Carl Jung over the coals in one of her essays. Poor guy isn't even alive to defend himself. Until such persons have their own "Experience" with the Divine and personal raise in consciousness, they will never fully understand what others who speak of the concept of unity and oneness are referring to.

Last week there was a sidewalk sale in town. I kept getting this inner nudge to go down there for there was something I was to see. I was thinking it was pottery, because I've been looking for some new earth tone designs made by local artists to display in the kitchen. I was arriving at the end of the street and couldn't figure out why I hadn't seen anything in pottery. Then, the second to the last booth, I knew what was waiting for me. An artist had a beautiful display of laser engraved pictures captured on marble and granite. The one with the 8 pointed star jumped out at me. It was surrounded by a circle with the letter directions of N,S,E,W also shown on all four sides. The title was, "Compass Rose." I flashed on a piece of jewelry I had designed and had made a few years ago. The eight pointed star when I wear it reminds me to follow my star. All four directions encompass the Divine plan and the points are balanced. To navigate the emotional waters while traveling in biology, is a little easier if one has more STAR LIGHT within. :-)

A friend emailed me a copy of a newsletter this morning and I found the title, "Our Religious Beliefs are Killing Us," very much in line with my conversations and writings the past few days. I thought I would share with you. I have not personally read any of the authors books, but a few of his book titles caught my eye. Perhaps some of his writings will appeal to you.

As the saying goes, "In the Eye of the Creator, We See Only Love." That is the truth (in my world)......it is so simple and yet for the enslaved minds of men who need conflict and drama, humans will continue with their follies and building of their killing machines to be used on their brothers and sisters, just so they can feel they are RIGHT and for their EGO's to be satisfied.

When you feel you have had enough of 3D madness, you can always ask Scotty to beam you up! :-)

Our Religious Beliefs Are Killing Us (by Joseph Dispenza)

A titanic collision of core religious beliefs is once again igniting the tinderbox of the Middle East, not only along the borders of Israel, but throughout the entire region. Countries there seem poised to topple like deadly dominoes into an armed conflict which is looking like the apocalyptic nightmare we have been fearing for centuries.

Some of the fundamentalist crazies among us are welcoming the confrontation as the fulfillment of Biblical prophesies about the end of the world, which must unfold in a final and decisive war between the forces of good and the forces of evil. The rest of us are waiting to see if sanity will prevail (something that seems less likely with each passing day), so that more bloodshed and anguish will be prevented.

When religious core beliefs clash, disaster and death follow. In the present conflict we are witnessing, both sides believe that their God is the true God -- and that, therefore, the other side is the "infidel" and must, according to their holy scripture, be killed. Take a close look at the Bible and the Qur'an and you will see numerous injunctions to kill those who do not uphold the "correct" concept of God. And to see just how deep these core religious beliefs can run, recall what is happening in the Iraq civil war, where two branches of Islam, which we had thought was based on a common religious belief, are torturing and murdering each other over minute distinctions of faith.

Religious core beliefs are incredibly powerful -- so powerful that they make us forget the most basic of human needs, that of self-preservation. We rush into battle, swords waving above our heads, ready to kill and be killed in the name of the loving creator of us all. It seems ridiculous, but it has been happening, with devastating consequences, at least since the advent, 4000 years ago, of the sky-god religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Many of us used to think that organized religion, if we didn't subscribe to it, was something we could ignore and go on with our lives. But now we are seeing that religious zealots, guided by their "divinely inspired" scriptures, have become a menace to those of us who want to live peaceful and fulfilling lives. The true believers in all three of the Big Religions cannot be ignored any longer, because they are locked into a nihilistic course to destroy not only each other, but us with them.

The time may be coming when, for the sake of the planet and all living things upon it, the humanistic sane will have to somehow defuse the ticking time bombs of the religious insane. How we do it can be debated; whether it should be done cannot.

This dangerous moment in history does not require of us to be polite, to be politically and religiously correct, but to speak out against the deplorable state of affairs brought on by ignorant people blindly following dysfunctional faiths that need the blood of the enemy to stay alive. - JD
