Johnny Cash and Tuning In

This morning I was awakened and the song "On the Road Again" was playing in my head. I could see and feel Johnny Cash close by. Minutes later I sat down at the computer and searched for the song lyrics to include in a post to a friends blog - http://antwatching.blogspot.com/.

E G#7
On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again
F#m
The life I love is makin' music with my friends
A B7 E
And I can't wait to get on the road again
E G#7
On the road again, goin' places that I've never been
F#m
Seein' things that I may never see again,
A B7 E
And I can't wait to get on the road again.

I had been thinking of Johnny all morning after that, and later in the afternoon when I got home, I turned on the computer again and found his face staring back at me from the homepage of AOL. They had changed their screen while I was gone. I was really curious what the message was so had to go check it out.

This was the headlines......
50 Most Awesomely Dead Rock Stars

For many musicians, death is not a final reckoning - it's the best career move they ever made. So which immortal souls are raising the most hell in 2006? From Joey Ramone to Notorious B.I.G. to Johnny Cash, the dearly departed are just dying to get on Blender's first annual corpsetastic list, brought to life by AOL Music. Commune with your favorite music martyrs by blasting their drop-dead jams and O.D.ing on the choicest tidbits of their legacy. Not even Tupac's coroner had this much info to work with.

Here's to you Johnny.....I just did a plug so keep those tunes coming in. I must have turned the dial of my frequency and found the right station this morning - sometimes that happens. :-)

(I'm looking at the words "For many musicians - death is not a final reckoning - it's the best career move they ever make. The universe is music, we are notes and transition just means we get to play and compose more tunes.)

When I typed the blurb to myself and sent it in email back to myself as sometimes I do, I noticed I sent it at 1:11 and it was #111 in my email box. For those who notice triple numbers - they often are little codes to pay attention to.
One description of 111 is:

111: Energy flow * Enhancing whatever level you are presently in *

I happened to notice this on Patrick Fitzgerald's blog one day

Two weeks ago it was Rick Nelson and his "Garden Party" song.......you might want to check out those lyrics for more meanings to life.
